@@bbinc300 probably apart of brainiacs army. Batman wanted to recruit oracle, and throughout the game Batman shows off his victims as a “symbol of fear” I think if Robin was dead evil batman would have showed him off like his over victims instead of just a mask and a very small pool of blood

The penguin scene is one of the few scenes that's actually kinda funny. Every other scene feels like it's trying too hard to be funny, or just putting in humor at very awkward moments that don't feel right. (The death scenes are especially a bad example of this)

I mean Harley not obsessing over the joker isn’t that bad. Especially if it’s been five years. It’d be stupid if she was still obsessing over him. If anything that progression shoulda been shown instead of glossed over. These characters do not have anything good going for them

I love the gameplay but like i dont care about this justice league aside from batman it makes his while journey throughout origins, asylum, city and knights just pointless and then throw the justice leauge at us and expect us to care abt killing them

Even though I know they changed Deadshot to be like Will Smith and his personality as well but quite frankly given with Floyd's character in this game instead of just race swapping him. They should this Deadshot not Floyd Lawton but Will Evans because if it's true that the Black Deadshot killed the fake white one as Rocksteady said or put in the game that is what happened then at that point just make Will Evans Deadshot for this game and say that he killed Floyd and took the title for himself or something. And besides Will Evan's costume is similar to Deadshot's expect it's mostly blue. Heck I don't even have to go that far just say he is from another universe then and that's even easier. As someone who is a casual DC fan and did some basic research for the most part and the fact hardcore DC fans made clever ideas and actually said that or have be Bloodsport instead it's so dumbfounding.

This game is honestly not that bad if your play it. If looter shooters is not your type of game say that, if you don’t like online games, say that. The game however is not bad, it’s a new story, new experience. Gotham knights is absolutely nothing compared to this. Of course people are entitled to their opinion. And I see how people can dislike that this is in the Arkham verse. But that was three games ago at this point. It’s time to let it go. The Arkham verse was its own franchise and its own story. This is new so you at least be open minded. If you haven’t played it don’t say it’s bad. If your here for the story then that’s your opinion. But people need to stop making excuses and going back to just the Arkham games as a comparison. Two different things people.

⁠⁠@@Justsayingisallthat would be true if this game was not part of the Arkham games. Unfortunately it is though. Even if it was a stand alone title it is still a poorly constructed narrative. Just to name a few examples characters die conveniently and in contrived ways and the means of their deaths are created at exactly the right time. I and other fans are not the ones who need to move on from the Arkham games it is the Devs themselves who could have made a standalone game but chose to put it in this beloved universe to get the instant sales associated with such a highly acclaimed series. As far as the gameplay goes I have not played it nor do I intend to, and from what I have seen it looks kinda repetitive. Also the original person who commented did not mention the gameplay. He was talking about the story. The main thing about this game is the story, that is why the devs chose to put in the Arkhamverse. As far as the claim that we are not open minded that is blatantly false. Apparently to you being open minded requires that I love this game. You try loving a game after they sit your favorite character down on a park bench, belittle and mock him, beat him to a pulp, and have a C-List villain whom never stood a chance against him in four games gun him down like a dog.

On the thing about Harley's character feeling different, (besides the "progressive writing") it can still make sense, its been five years since the events of arkham knight and she's hasn't left arkham since so, she probably ironically got some psychological help during her time in arkham, which made her get over some of her trauma and one them being her attachment to the joker. She probably finally realized in her grieving that joker had no interest in her and was using her, which in turn she would finally get over him. We have to remember that her character in many adaptations gets developed when she's away from the joker and not always a part of him. Again this version still feels different, their was something evil and sinister about her previously, Now she feels like how she currently is in the comics, giving that anti hero personality even though this harley is still an evil killer. (Now thinking about it her character is very similar to the one from the injustice series, even with them both having dead joker's)

Doesn't make sense for them to be using a bunch of Batemans gadgets like watch tower satellite and bat arsenal transport, as batman would surly realize that's what tfx and waller are using to take him and his master down. So surely he'd track it down or have some way to do so for these items Also them being in the hall of justice seems really dumb, as batman starks the team and clealry sees they're using gear from the hoj, and if that's the case then surely batman would put a stop to the resistance. This only makes sense if batman Is somehow resisting branics influence to some extent, but if that were the case then surely he wouldn't be going around destroying his one rule.

On that thing you were saying about them ignoring stuff that happened in Arkham Knight. I bet when that Joker expansion drops Harley won’t react much at all and won’t acknowledge the feelings she had for the Arkham Joker whilst also making sure we get beat over the head that she’s not a sidekick Batman coming out of hiding and having no problem opening up and working as a team without any on screen progression of his character from Arkham Knight is really dumb. I also don’t feel like that Batman would’ve fell victim to Brainiac so easily given how he overcame the joker in his mind. The people who wrote this don’t understand how characters work and the banter is a lot more miss than hit.

I had a weird dream about this game last night. It had the Suicide Squad in it and Bruce/Batman forced Damion Wayne join them lol. Sorry for not watching this series with ya, but with Rocksteady and WB gaslighting Arkham fans. I just don't have have the heart to watch it.

People can play the Game if they want. The Gameplay is fine, the story is bad. If you've played or heard about Sunset Overdrive, Gotham City imposters, Infamous or borderlands, you'll be right at Home with the mechanics. However; if you love the Arkham story and you don't like them glossing over things and an anti climatic ending to Arkham Bat's story, you aren't alone. Many True Arkham fans are ticked and they have every right to be. That's my 2 cents.

Idk. I like this Harley. I think being in the asylum for five years has aloud her to grow out of her joker obsession and realize it wasn’t love. And there’s no telling what she could’ve been doing in the asylum without joker over the last five (possibly more) years

Five years in jail, this takes place supposedly... five years after Knightfall Protocol. Harley was arrested at the movie studios and sent back to jail. Where She remained until Waller.

As much as I love Kwing and watching him play games, some sections have me so aggravated and frustrated. I can let the fact he can't read the text slide since the text *is* ridiculously small, but the section with the shielded incubator...argh! Maybe it's because I'm playing the game myself, but watching him shoot the shield while the characters are talking about smashing crystals, and the fact there are two glowing lines that would lead him to said crystals just sort of gets on my nerves. Maybe I'm a backseat gamer haha. But I am enjoying seeing his take on the game and hearing his opinions. Also, slight spoilers, but there is something that happens later in the game (about 16 hrs playtime for me) that could indicate this game's story, while parallel, isn't canon to the true Arkham-verse.

Ok, I know you are tired from the other long streams, but is there a way to maybe spread the releases out? No offense, but I think you are missing some fairly easy aspects of tbe gameplay, like countering the snipers and dealin with incubators. I'm imagining its a combination of disgust with the game direction and being tired.

If they don't care about continuity with characters or tone from the Arkham trilogy... then why put it in the Arkham universe. Many of the criticisms fans are having would vanish if this was an elseworlds game. I'll tell you why they are using Arkham for this: MONEY! I mean remember at the beginning of Arkham Knight when gang members were about to murder the police officer before batman "evens the odds"? Now compare that to Harley Quinn double jumping and doing backflips off buildings with no fall damage. What. The. Fuck.
