Şehzade Süleyman, en yakın adamı Pargalı İbrahim ile birlikte çıktığı bir avda alır kötü haberi. Babası Yavuz Sultan Selim Han vefat etmiştir. Şehzade Süleyman hiç beklemeden, İstanbul’a doğru yola çıkar. Şehzade Süleyman hızla payitahta ulaşır. Hiç beklemeden cülus törenine katılır. Bir günde hayatı değişmiş. Alex, tüm isyankarlığına rağmen, Topkapı sarayına getirilir. Onun bu tavrı ilk andan itibaren Valide Sultan’ın dikkatini çeker. Ama Alex’in sarayın kurallarını öğrenmesi uzun sürmez. As much as I hate it, Suleiman's actor Halit Ergenc did a really good job with his facial expressions. Everytime he does that evil smile of his, you can tell from his eyes how he pretends to act good but has a sense of pride and arrogance in himself, it almost looks like jealousy and hatred. Great job to Halit 👏

I think Mustafa is overwhelmed by the love and support of the jannisaries. He forgot he is not an actor who should get a lot of fans. Getting the approval of Suleyman is the most important.

Props to Mustafa's patience! Literally any other Şehzade with the same popularity as him and they had to go through the same thing, they would've rebelled without batting an eye. In fact, Şehzade Bayezid himself says that if he had the popularity of his brother, he would've rebelled against his father. Sultan Suleiman's father, Sultan Selim I became a Sultan because of this very reason. He was popular with the army and his father made moves against him, so Selim had to act before his brother Şehzade Ahmet could be chosen as Sultan.

Does the fact that he didn't make a move tells you anything? He didn't have the wherewithal to take over. If he did, he would have taken over. All his adult behaviour was because he really wanted to be a sultan but he couldn't. First of all, he needed money but compared to his siblings he was dirt poor. No Ottoman army will support a shehazade who can't pay them before inauguration. Hence the need for liaising with Ibrahim. After his execution, he had to bid his time and gather the necessary funds.

@@kayodewa moustafa was extremly popular and suleyman was old and already sick if he wanted to the prince could have started a rebelion in fact had he escaped from the tente on that faithful day it would have being civil war selim the first had to fight the sultan and his brothers to gain the throne and he succeded and mustaffa was realy genourous with the janissary and had the support of almost all important state men not just ibrahim their were even rumors that the sultan was getting old and the empire needs a younger stronger one and rustom made sure these rumors reached suleyman this is the main reason behind his execution he became to powerful for his own good

@@kikima258 You are right that was the myth. But take a step back and look at the reality. Selim l rebelled because he has the courage means AND ability. All things Mustapha lacked. He was executed in the presence of the WHOLE of Ottoman army, viziers and beys who hailed and swore loyalty to him for years and they did nothing. They simply observed the public marking for one of them passing and totted after Suleiman to war. And that was that nothing more was said.

@@kayodewa of course they won't do a thing on theire own rebelions are made by princes if the prince doesn't initiate the rebilion then no one would act selim did it moustaffa didn't i don't understand this logic of expecting the army and the pasha to just start rebelions on their own to save their favorite prince? it doesn't work like that

That's the sultan of ottoman empire's call...he was sultan suleiman,more a sultan than a father...so, mustafa couldn't denied his decision by any means... Mustafa wasn't smart enough to understand that,what he needed most,the support of his father,who was a sultan...more and more than the support of janissaries...

Janissary support only matters if you’re willing to act and take the throne. Mustafa ended up in no man’s land with the love of the Army and jealousy of his father.

You begin with answer then question of the answer itself. Mustafa is not sultan it's not a good thing especially for Suleyman because his father Selim 1 also did the same causing the downfall and execution of his grandfather.

To raise to the power you must control these elements: 1. People (Ottoman's civilians) 2. Power (Royal families, Divan & army/janissary) 3. Priest (Seyhulul Islam/The judge) For Mustafa case, he just manage 1 1/3 of them (he is loved by the people and the janissary). Sultan Suleiman is no longer have a favor from him and the only royal family who supports him is Fatma Sultan. After Sah Sultan left he doesn't have a council member to supports him (only Hizier Reis but he died later on). He fails to manage *Power* Hurrem cunningly removed Fenerizande Effendi who supports Mustafa and have Ebusuud Effendi on her side. By then, Mustafa can't control the *Priest* _In short, Hurrem's coallition could control these 3 elements by built a foundation for the people, being the Sultan's confidant and having Rustem & Sokollu in the Divan to gain power, and gain Ebusuud Effendi (the Priest) trust

@@ChickenSoup736 yeah true. Sad that although majority of these classes supported Mustafa, the highest ranked chose to support Hürrem. I just know the only reason Ebu Suud is allied with Hürrem is coz of their charity. Otherwise, he’d probably be on Mustafa’s side too

@@hussainsultanzada6123 prima asksara is making the case by taking into account only the facts provided by the series . Sheikh Al Islam has no business in deciding who sits on the throne . He is needed by the king to control people and army by using Islam as the uniting force . Why would ebbusud support hurrem? He has the position for lifetime . I am sure he would've supported the able could've been sultan mustafa . Mustafa had the support of almost everyone she mentioned above except rustem pasha ofcourse . Sometimes we make things way too deep than they usually are . Mustafa should've understood the ugly game better and not trusted his father especially when he was warned by his mother and his close aides . It's difficult to say who would've won in this hypothetict war had it happened . The future able sultan mustafa or the presently powerful but old sultan Suleiman . No definite answer for that . Mustafa I guess did not expect to be executed in such a treacherous manner . I am sure he must've had double thoughts while meeting Suleiman . History is kind to the winner and unkind to the loser . Had mustafa rebelled and very likely would've won , everyone would've supported him . Everyone would be writing how suleiman deserved this for mistreating mustafa and his mother . Because he lost so ofcourse he was a rebel and wrong tactically and morally .

She controls him like a horse. Early days sultan suleiman do what he wanted but when he become old he do what hurrem wants. I hated the last episodes of Magnificant centuries. it was full of sorrows and tragedies

Mustapha’s stupidity had cost many people their lives. What part of you have to obey the king at all times does he not understand? He could have waited until he was king to rule however he wants but no he try to act righteous

The problem is Suleyman favored Selim, so Mustafa and Bayezid couldn't just sit and wait. Selim already had Manisa and was Suleyman's choice to be the next ruler.

Why Suleiman doesn't trust mustata? 1 reason, His own father /selim/ took throne from his granpa. So he know it can be done. 2nd reason Also mustafa didn't spend his childhood with suleiman. So their relation is poor. 3rd reason, people support mustafa call mustafa's name even in the prensence of suleiman. 4rd reason, mustafa doesn't follow suleiman's order and makes mistake. I think even without hurrem' intruption, suleiman will not trust mustafa.

Mustafa was the Dynasty. Hurrem was a 16th century Instagram model who got pregnant. Plus the real traitor was rustem who tried to kill the sultan’s son repeatedly, Ali Agha just tried to stop traitor rustem.
