A weekend with Fred Gibson and his team (Gibson Motorsport) at the 2014 Historic Sandown meeting, "Together Again." Some wonderful insights into arguably one of the most successful Australian Group A teams of all time. Hear the story about how Nissan became the first Japanese car manufacturer to win the great race, The Toohey's 1000 Bathurst. Some race fans have never forgiven them, chuckle, well, time does heal all wounds. The Nissan GTR's didn't earn the name Godzilla by mistake! Thanks for getting into the Gibson Motorsport tent that weekend. It was a fantastic thing to see all those amazing cars and how professionally presented everything was. Just the way Fred Gibson did it in the hey day.

I didn't realize there was hate that bad in the day probably Holden and Ford fans with a broken heart. Well anyway it's awesome the passion and commitment is still there with these legendary cars 👍👍👍

John Kepa nearly every Aussie over 30 remember the 'pack of arse holes' day like it was yesterday,I do.when they banned the gtr was when Bathurst started going down hill,so boring now.bring back the boost!

Great team, great blokes and even better cars! I am so glad Gibson Motorsport is back in the swing of things! Like Freddy had said he loves seeing families rock up these meeting in awe of these machines. I for one turn up with my old man to these events. If you ever get a chance to see and hear these machines in the flesh, do it! I for one am very fond of the GTS-R screaming as loud as a banshee! Huge thanks to Super100MPH for a superb video! Look forward to more!

AFAIK that bluebird still holds the fastest lap around the pre-chase bathurst circuit. That was a real beast of a car...
