Suzuki Playlist: • Suzuki Off-road 4x4
In this Video I will show you how Suzuki is handling off-road climbing uphill and going down same way on a dry dust roads or on grass. You would be able to see how powerful is Suzuki Vitara 4 4x4 AllGrip Select drive pair-up with 140 HP engine.
That is my third test of Suzuki Vitara off-road capabilities in terrain. I hope it will be useful for you to clarify if Vitara is worth having, especially if you live in mountain or hill area. I encourage you to watch also Winter test where there are more challenging conditions.
This test should apply for all Suzuki family cars with same 140HP engine and same AllGrip Select - four wheels drive. In Europe we have at least two models: Suzuki Vitara 4 & Suzuki S-Cross. Probably there is also Suzuki Brezza in other markets. And maybe some other I am not aware. Please share in comments if you know some other models with similar configuration.

I love this car. I have the 2020 all grip hybrid version. I drove last October from Warsaw to Sweden (via the Gdansk ferry to Sweden), to Jokkmokk, in Lapland. Amazing winter trip, I really recommend it. A lot of snowy roads, also unpaved. I drove hundreds of km of unpaved roads to different areas and some beautiful waterfall, sometimes with 20cm of snow. There are hours of 'nothing' between towns, and I passed the Arctic Circle. The Vitara is a fucking tank, no bullshit electronics, simplicity always wins.

Wow, that had to be amazing trip. Really envy. Good to know it is handling also real life driving for many kilometers. I am driving also on unpaved road and in some snow, but for sure not hundreds of kilometer. Scandinavia must be great place to drive it. Some elctronic there is, like in every modern car. That is hard to avoid.

@@OutdoorAdventure0 good morning. true there are some electronics but the right quantity and they work great :). Yes Scandinavia is very beautiful, especially Lapland and the areas around mountains. Also is not so expensive, once you leave Stockholm accommodation is quite OK. Petrol costs more or less like in Poland. I really recommend it 😃

@@intertigre I was in Finland some time ago, up to the North Cape, but not with the Vitara. Finland is also fine to visit, prices are not killing and with condition if somebody like lakes and forests. Probably next one I will choose Norway(with Vitara :)) So maybe Sweden will be there on my way also.:) But in Finlnad I havent tried any dirt roads at the time.

Sadly, homemade Suzuki electronics and especially firmware (not those from Bosch, like fuel injection or ABS/ESP), is weak spot of this car. Very bad system design, prone to cascading faults. So, it's acceptable in Europe, but avoid riding wild overlands :)

They are very useful! I would love to have whole doors covered with it😉, because metal body of car(especially doors) is very thin(lightweight) and prone to damages. And on plastic molding I have not even single visible scratch.

This is my first car and I was once stuck in a narrow and steep cul-de-sac, climbed to the end of it to realise that it does not have an exit. It was very tough for me to drive backwards and maneuver the car, I got out eventually but had a real scare. That road was perhaps less steep than the last one (26 degrees), but things can get real scary in real life situations. Does hill descent control work in reverse gear?
@OutdoorAdventure0
@OutdoorAdventure0 3 жыл бұрын
I understand you fully. My pulse high rises when I am in the middle on nowhere and I need to get back through some obstacles I nearly drive through forward ;) As I recall hill descent is working in reverse as well, but I can double check this. But to be honnest in very steep and/or uneven parts of the roads I would not count on it. Car is going to fast in hill descent mode to have control over it in reverse drive.
@OutdoorAdventure0
@OutdoorAdventure0 2 жыл бұрын
Btw. I tested Hill Descent Control in reverse and it is working. But a bit to fast for me for a more demanding road.

Sorry I didnt catch your question. I was using Winter Tires in this test. In dry condition like in the test, I think, not much difference between Winter and Summer. But in the mud, Winter Tires are much better. Probably somewhere between Summer road tires and AT tires. Some kind of real terrain tires alternaitive. You can check my other video when I was using them in low Snow, around +4C. They were handling very good. Snow is not and issue for them. Ice, I havent lot of such conditions to test. Cannot say. Once they were slipping for me in high speed on ice, but I managed to get out from it and no crash. Ice is for any tires chalange hard to overcome.

Do you think 1.5 non turbo engine is sufficient to extract full potential of allgrip?

@OutdoorAdventure0
@OutdoorAdventure0 Жыл бұрын
Jimmy is lighter than Vitara. Hard to compare. Honestly speaking for Jimmy personally suits me more classical simple petrol engine. I believe in previous Jimmy's edition it was similar petrol without turbo and it was doing well enough for many years.

Good for you in India. There was so high buy run for Jimmy in Europe, after selling first limited batch now it cost at least 25% more than initially. But still there is no comparable competition.

Opony zimowe dunlop winter sport - najgosze opony jakie miałem 😂
@OutdoorAdventure0
@OutdoorAdventure0 3 жыл бұрын
Haha.
@xklient4175
@xklient4175 3 жыл бұрын
@OutdoorAdventure0
@OutdoorAdventure0 3 жыл бұрын

No AT, to też ciekawe czy warte... bo tam jest ten system samo prowadzenia w korku chyba.
