No it doesn’t. You will need to get your own.

Technically you don’t. It sits about 34cm from the floor so similar to a road wheel. I tend to prefer a front block to add stability but you really don’t with this trainer.

The KICKR Core is a very good option at that price. That would be my pick. Hard to justify the price for the 2018 kickr. But if you are welling to spend over $1,000, then I would consider the NEO 1 or 2.

The Flux has a decent road feel. Not as good as other higher end trainers like the Tacx Neo for example but much better than the Vortex. For someone coming from a Vortex, the flywheel will feel better.

In your experience, is it normal for the same wattage to feel harder when you go from outdoor riding to an indoor trainer without a good flywheel? When I went from outdoor riding this summer to indoor riding, it seems so much harder to hold my FTP, it just feels like I can't get on top of the gear and get that momentum. I'm considering replacing the Vortex with something higher end, but wanted to see if you think a bigger flywheel would help with that.

Generally yes, indoor riding will feel harder regardless of trainer. There are a lot of factors that plays into it and inertia from the flywheel is one of them. A higher end trainer will get you closer but at the end of the day, the more you ride indoor, the better you will get at it and your outdoor and indoor watts will almost match.

+Jenina Wielrenster Yes. These sensors connect directly to Zwift. Have nothing to do with the trainer.

I would avoid it if you have other options. Not sure what other options you have available in your area but the Elite Suito and Kickr Core are all good alternatives.

@@SmartBikeTrainers Am interested with the kicker core but the only issues am facing is that their are no shops I found in my country that sell the kicker core! And also am not interested to buy it online due to unusual or potentially have issues in long terms and for that cost it's too much to handle the price, if the unusual happen!.

@@SmartBikeTrainers and what about the booster? Is it a good trainer that I can get a good sweet spot workout on? And this trainer is available in my area which Garmin sell. But Shan also don't recommend this trainer. Am so confused man. Am on a budget. And there are so many options and also oppnion. Am new to cycling and I want something that I get what paid for.

The trainer itself or any trainer doesn't connect to strava. However, most apps have connection to Strava. Zwift, TrainerRoad, and SUF all have connection to Strava.

My bike is 10 speeds And 11 speeds disc installed on the trainer,,, do you think changing gear will be ok ??

@@taibahcol4nurses350 I know that you can swap between 10 to 11spd without problems but the spacer thing could be problematic.... Don't know if you need to remove 1 spacer to switch between 10 to 11 spd. I have switch 11-25 to 11-28 with no problems....
