So you tried to defend it as vegan above, but you won't even say. I'll do it for you. It is NOT vegan, as served unless you go all "Karen" and have them do a bunch of shit to it like microwave it separately to avoid cross contamination, leave off the mayo, cheese, etc and make it a PITA for everyone. LOL

Burger King CEOs: "um how can we get vegans to buy into are industry" "oh, I know lets get plant based burger patties!" Another individual: "what of the other ingredients that contains yeast, that is potentially linked to animal products?" Burger King CEOs: we won't tell them." Mmmmmmm One more thing that confuses people is yeast. People think that the buns contain yeast, hence making them non-vegan food items. That is entirely not true. The yeast is found everywhere.

For myself, I feel the animal testing element to the Impossible Food's brand is an ethical/moral paradox. Exploit X amount of animals, to possibly/hopefully save BILLIONS, if not TRILLIONS of cows in the future. I am siding with $upporting the Impossible Foods brand and their fast food chain/retail endeavors. I've grown to understand, to my knowledge, there is no food that is 100% " cruelty free ". Billions of field animals and insect life are destroyed in the growing/harvesting of the plant based/vegan foods i have come to relish and enjoy. From what i know, animal testing commissioned by the Impossible Foods brand was limited, and not an ongoing issue. I am hoping against hope, this will be a major success, and all iconic other fast food chains evolve their menus with PB/V burgers. I am also hoping, BK implements standalone grills for the Impossible Whopper orders, and contracts with a vegan cheese and mayonnaise company. Imagine!🤞

I eat out like twice a year, so no big deal I guess to have a bit of oil. People need to chill. You clearly stated your reasons for trying it and supporting the effort the company puts forth. I just subscribed to you because of this video! 2 steps forward, one step back. So relevant in my life lol But I agree with you here. I was upset about the gmo’s in Impossible. And loved the non-GMO Beyond and their practices. But the reality is, I used to order fries occasionally. So there’s GMO’s there. I am a firm belief in not harming animals. So many more animals are being saved because of plant based burgers! “The needs of the many, outweigh the few.” IMAGINE if all fast food and restaurants added real vegan options and they made more money on them so they added other vegan options. And before you know it, chicken eaters are eating plant chicken version and there’s vegan restaurants everywhere. It’s the norm. And everyone is healthier, cause duh...and the world really is cruelty free?!?!?! Ya, it’s a win. Love you Kristen. Love this video. Love not eating animals! Thank you!

Not a Vegan... Used BK's $7 Whopper Taste Test ( 1 Impossible vs 1 Beef Whopper) several times (3?) so far and I was very Impressed how similar the Flavor/Texture was between the two. First Impressions... I'd say the Beef Whopper lost to the Impossible. (Seemed more "Charred"/Dry like it'd been on the grill just a bit too long. From other reviews I'd expected that profile from the Impossible... But was surprised it seemed like it was "fresh" off the grill... "Maybe" just one instance/bite when I felt the Texture was "off"... But it quickly passed.). 2nd Attempt was sort of a draw... Brought them home to eat and they both cooled down quite a bit (Luke warm). This time the Beef and Impossible both had very similar flavor profiles... No "excessive" Charbroiled taste. 3rd seemed similar although once again hot... Wouldn't mind eating or ordering an Impossible if it's offered. Really impressive how similar they are. If not for the distinctive "shape" you could probably fool a lot of people. By itself I think a lot of people wouldn't be able to tell if asked.

When people can do the right thing without being pompous about it, it will be a much happier, peaceful place. I like vegans I'm more partial to vegetarian lifestyle though. Harm to animals is abominable yet I can't condone going without milk products eggs honey or even wool for that matter. Animals don't need to be harmed to get these things, however mostly in their being produced they are harmed, and us, too. This is not good in promoting Vedic society, we must protect cows and respect other animals like chickens and sheep. God bless you and your channel, namaste.

You should definitely look more into how milk, eggs and honey are produced for us humans. It's the most upsetting shit ever. I used to think that no animals had to be harmed to get this stuff, but I was SO wrong. It's really upsetting. :(

@@KristenPound I want to look into it, and I encourage only humane treatment of animals, even when they are utilised for the products they can make. I think one good example of an animal liking it's product taken is the sheep, which quite enjoys being sheared.
