Awesome thanks for sharing this, these type of cost breakdown vids are the best for my future travel plans. Question: Are the the beds softer in Vietnam, or are they rock hard like Thailand?
@ninja.teacher
@ninja.teacher 8 жыл бұрын
Yeah I love watching them myself. Figured they're useful. :) Haha yeah the beds are generally harder all over Asia. No exceptions here. At least in my room.

Cool video, though I don't think I'd ever live in such house. What about mosquitoes in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh? :D

I'm moving to Vietnam in August to teach wooo. Is it easy/cheap to rent or buy bikes? Or motorcycles? What do you recommend for getting around and to school?

The rent is good, space is adequate but how do you share a small refrigerator with 6 people? I would not like climbing all the stairs.

Do a lot of Vietnamese children learn to play instruments in school? Like, the violin?
@ninja.teacher
@ninja.teacher 8 жыл бұрын
+wyotajo Not really, school is very academic and test based out here. High test scores and English speaking are valued much more highly than creativity. Just my uninformed observations. :)

***** Thanks for typing all that out mate. Is your mate a non-native speaker/not a degree holder? I have a degree and can get a police check and am from England so I think Id be OK. However, I suppose anyone can get caught if who you teach for aren't following the rules. Would you agree that although the pay is less in Vietnam, the cost of living is much lower and you can save more in Vietnam than China? Cheers mate.

Hi Alex, would you please check my CV? this is a passage from my CV.. is it ok? thank you! Future Plan: I love to work with children, parents and others. I am an energetic and enthusiastic Bachelor of Arts in English. In my previous job, I was a freelance ESL tutor and a substitute teacher at the elementary school in my hometown. I want to take your Trinity Cert. TESOL course to improve my skills in planning, listening, speaking to groups and ensure understanding. I would really like to extend these experiences to be a professional ESL teacher. I very much look forward to having an opportunity to meet you.
