Kelly has a special ability with her voice. Her vocal gymnastics are so fluid. Only something you can really be born with! There is no tension whatsoever in her voice, and her vibrato is just like liquid gold! 👏🏼

I've watched every superbowl for the last 25 years or so and this is the rendition of the national anthem I remember most. She sang this so well, she's ridiculously talented. Has to be one of the best in super bowl history. Also, the shot of the soldiers was quite touching.

@@ANNIE_R_U_OK This same thing happens with females who don't have her fame. They are skinny and keep themselves in shape until they get married. Once they are married they no longer try to stay in shape and pack on the pounds. She was skinny because the industry required her to have a certain look. At that time she didn't have any success behind her that would allow her to dictate what she would do. She was only able to let herself go after she achieved her success. Her and Carrie Underwood are the only ones that won the contest and had a good career from it. Her vocal ability is not in dispute.

I love her version... of the Star Spangled Banner. She should sing at all Superbowls. I love her look here too. She looks great with the brown hair. As someone from Indianapolis- it was a packed stadium in Lucas OIl. We were waiting to here her and Madonna do the halftime show. She sings the anthem well at the Indianapolis 500 too This was 2012 so she will look different in 2023- but she still looks great but the brown straight hair does her justice. I swear she can sing anything and it sound good.

Out of everyone that I have heard sing the National Anthem, Whitney is the best. Whitney sang that song so patiently and beautifully. All while smiling! There were no riffs, runs, whistle notes, screaming, or yelling to prove a point. Whitney's performance was effortless, and she came out not trying to impress anyone. Absolutely, flawless!😊😊😊😊😊

I would say I heard two people sing the national anthem that really was amazing. Whitney Houston and Kelly Clarkson. Kelly Clarkson is a wonderful singer. She has one of the greatest voices. This one was so beautiful and amazing. Great job. I remember watching this when it happened and I was so impressed with how she sang it.
