@@CJAwesome83 Dude, I just tried to remove the trigger etc from the slide rail unit on my Marui G26...it's all one piece! Is this some new thing? So the trigger pin just holds it in the frame, but when you remove the rail unit, the trigger, trigger bar and slide stop are all stuck in it. The trigger pin isn't what's holding those in place in the actual rail unit, the unit itself has it's own bar that the trigger pin goes through just to hold it in the frame, but you can't remove the trigger parts or the slide lock bar. Am I being really dense and missing something, or is this some new Marui trick to stop you replacing parts or something?

Hey, great video, thanks for all the work and information. I have a question, you probably know these glock slides are not so comfortable going all the way back and forward. If you do it a bit slowly, the slide gets stuck half way (not problematically, but it just doesnt go forward without a little push or shake the gun, really little force). I know it is common and it does not effect blowback during shooting but, if there is a way to fix that and make the slide move more comfortable, I will be glad to hear.
@CJAwesome83
@CJAwesome83 6 жыл бұрын
Thanks, glad you like it :D You can get an Action bearing hammer wheel to smoothen up the action and also polish all the contact surfaces and rails with fine sandpaper (up tp 1000-2000 grit) to make it more smooth. But ultimately there is no real solution as you say yourself it is kind of by design. But those things do help a bit. :)

Amazing video man I am planning to buy the neccesary Guarder parts to build my custom Gbb glock 17. I almost got all neccesary parts, however a part that gets my attention ( and i have not found any Guarder part of it ) is the "safety plate " that you point on minute 5:33. Is it neccesary when building the Guarder g17? Thanks in advance
@CJAwesome83
@CJAwesome83 6 жыл бұрын
No, it is not necessary. But without it, and without a Guarder serial number plate, there will be a hole in the bottom of the frame. I think you will find this playlist interesting :D kzfaq.info/sun/PLz5FTS2XoXasBtNqpfK_3ZqAfHxQbTrH8

Hey man! I'm planning on a custom G build, but the APS frame I bought doesnt have a slot for the safety/serial no. plate that you pointed out. Is it a necessary part or can I go ahead and build the gun without it? The frame is the APS-AC008B. Thanks!
@CJAwesome83
@CJAwesome83 5 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I do now know anything about how compatible the APS G style frame is with WE/TM parts etc. But the frame safety/serial plate is not an essential part either way so you can go ahead without it :)

In the frame hammer mechanism there is an additional full-auto sear tripper and spring. And in the slide there is the selector mechanism. Other than that they should be identical.

Hey my slide catch dosent seem to acctually catch the slide ever unless theres a rare occasion it does only at may gas pressure is this a common problem or at least an easy fix?
@CJAwesome83
@CJAwesome83 3 жыл бұрын
This could be one of several things. It means that your gun does not have enough power from the gas blow back to cycle the slide far enough back to engage the slide lock lever. 1. Non-matching gas router rubber and nozzle face geometry. Some nozzles are rounded at the bottom where the gas route rubber on the magazine interfaces with it. If you then have a flat top gas route rubber in the magazine this will cause a poor gas seal. Or the inverse could be true also, flat bottom nozzle and rounded gas route rubber. Make sure that they match. 2. Poor gas seal between magazine gas route rubber and nozzle due to worn magazine catch. Try pushing the magazine up in the frame when firing and see if it catches. If yes, replace magazine catch. 3. Too strong recoil spring. See if you can find a slightly weaker recoil spring, or if you want to, you can cut one or two coils off of the recoil spring to make the slide blow back easier. 4. Too strong hammer spring. Replace with new/weaker hammer spring. When the slide blows back it has to push the hammer down to cock it for the next shot. If the spring is too strong or damaged this can cause too much friction on the slide action for it to blow back properly.

It's worth nothing TM parts do not fit in WE guns and vice versa i have tried compatability of everyting and the only things in the entire gun that can fit is a marui auto sear (for the we g18) but you have to run a marui axle/pin with it because they are fatter than the WE ones and the rest of the axles/pins also are cross compatible with the WE hammer frame/housing. Magazines work but leak gas because of the rounded gas gasket on the marui magazines, the WE nozzle has a flat surface whersd the TM ones are rounded to match the contour of the magazine. Blowback housings and nozzles are completely different shapes so none are interchangeable this makes WE glocks not very upgradeable. The trick with getting a glock that is upgradeable is to buy a TM as a base and upgrade it, or buy brands that are actually TM compatible like VFC/Umarex and King Arms if you can find them. Generally TM has better tolerances all round on every gun wheras WE vary from unit to unit and part to part so generally even though they have metal slides they wear down and break faster than TMs.
