CORRECTION: MK1: regular patches for BOTH crucial bugs AND balance Tekken 8: patches for balance but not for bugs that are EVEN MORE crucial than MK1 SF6: patches just for bugs that are EVEN MORE crucial than MK1 and not balance

@@RoyArkon yeah man im so happy nrs have patched the main issues in mk1. Desync issues, audio glitches, hitbox issues (sikander), black screen bug, wealth of typos and incorrect data in training mode, pc version combos not working compared to console version, king of the hill broken… Oh wait

Unlike SF6 that not had to go through the input reading bug (still in the game), throw escape bug, huge matchmaking issues (still in the game), CPT netcode lagging during online tournies (still in the game), tons of bugs surrounding certain special moves from chars such as Zangief's Piledriver, Drive Gauge corner bug, and so much more. And that's only just the bugs, not even mentioning the monetization issues like a space suit that costs 24$ and only for the created chars. MK1 has no item that even come close that price, all of the items are 10$ at max in MK1, and they are all for the actual chars. And let's not forget Tekken 8, that has so far so many crashes even after NOT ONE, BUT TWO PATCHES IN JUST LESS THAN TWO WEEKS, as well as color change bug in character select screen (still in the game), Jack-8 model appearing out of nowhere during the Tekken Force section in story mode (still in the game), character's lips don't move at all during match intros (still in the game), huge matchmaking issues just like in SF6 (still in the game), Jun's model sprinting across the desert-like stage (still in the game), and so much more. And that's WITHOUT bringing all the boosters, hackers, and pluggers in Tekken 8, that are actually worse in both MK1 and perhaps even SF6. MK1, compared to these two, is in a find place.

@@BlvckJericho How did you came to the conclusion that I play Tekken 8? I don't. Didn't buy the game and never going to. Even without the bugs and crashers (which you ignore), Tekken 8 is lacking in single player content and with an average story mode and customization items that are copied and pasted from Tekken 7, unlike MK1 which has a PHENOMOENAL story mode, insane amount of content thanks to Invasions mode and all of the modes that are in it, and the customization items are all brand new and keep coming every new season. Tekken 8 has tons of issues both in the package AND functionality, and all the communication in the world isn't gonna matter if the package is this flawed and the functionality is this bad.

you must have insane memory loss or something, mk had no cross play at launch, doggy ah invasion mode that gets boring after 2 minutes, shang tsung didn't even work on release, no online lobbies which was in the first injustice from like 12 years ago, took 3 months to be able to pin your moves which is quite literally the most basic feature in any decent fighting game, every good skin being locked behind real money, most basic movesets we have ever had for characters in the past 6 games since kameos are supposed to help with that but everyone just uses the same 3-4 kameos, people getting stuck on blackscreens when playing online matches, 0 options for ranked matches to make sure you don't get someone with 400 ping which Tekken has. Online was horrible for people on Tekken on release and guess what, they actually communicated and fixed it in a day. If this was mk they would be in complete silence and fix the issue next month. you don't have to defend mk with your life bro they don't know who you are even if your entire channel is dedicated to mk which makes sense on why you're this delusional

​@@vokuhila6913 Actually it's YOU who has both a memory loss AND lack of knowledge 1) MK1 got the move pinning feature after one month, not 3 months. 2) Tekken 8 has crossplay at launch, but what's the point of having crossplay if the netcode of Tekken 8 is this bad? Not to mention that the PC version of MK1 isn't done by NRS but rather by Qloc, of course isn't gonna be at launch. 3) Online Rooms were actually used extremely little in the final year of MK11, unlike Kombat League which was still used very frequently still. This shows that the rooms were not put there in purpose because NRS/WB knew that people weren't gonna use them as much anyway. Same thing with the move pinning feature, BTW. 4) Invasions mode is an excellent mode, it uses a ton of features from all previous single player modes from previous MK games, from original MK1 all the way to MK9. On top of being basically a Pokemon game inside MK1, having several features inspired by Pokemon and added to Invasions. 5) Shang Tsung didn't work on release? In what way? You couldn't download him? You couldn't select him? I pre-ordered MK1 and Shang Tsung worked fine for me. 6) The movesests are just like MKX and MK11 in terms of size, and not only people using way more than 3-4 Kameos, but even if they did, that's not a launch problem. 7) The Skins in MK1 are excellent, both the free ones and the paid ones. And the price is very reasonable, unlike SF6 that charges 24$ just for space suit and just one color of it. 8) Tekken 8 online is STILL horrible, I still see both on Steam and Reddit that people complain about online and crashes during online matches EVEN AFTER the patch that came in today. So you got no right to say that MK1 online is bad if this is how bad Tekken 8 online is. 9) Also speaking of Tekken 8 online, MK1 just recently got Wi-Fi filter, something that neither Tekken 8 nor SF6 has. 10) Black screen during online matches in MK1? Never heard of that, and even if this is true, this is probably happening only to very small amount of people, which should be expected from any game, unlike Tekken 8 which once again, has crashes online for pretty much everyone. I'm defending MK1 because that's the right thing to do, this community is a joke and you are part of that joke.

No I’m not wasting both our time to talk to you because nothing will come of it, I’ll just say this 1. I’ve sacrificed more in my life for MK than you, or anybody you know, combined, and by a very large margin. 2. I can play T8 if I want, just like I have with every other Tekken game since I was a kid, deal with it.

@@AF0xyGrampa I also contributed to MK a lot, I'm a moderator on MK Secrets, trying to help the community in every possible way for the last 9 years, just like what Crimson Shadow does on TYM as an admin, someone that we both know. This is not about who contributed or sacrificed for MK more, this is about what damage you do now for MK1, and what damage others have done not only now but over the years as well and how it does relate to MK1 right now. Also I didn't say you can't play Tekken 8 at all, I did say that the reason that you do it right now isn't legit. Let alone ignoring the fact that Tekken 8 also came with tons of bugs and issues of it's own, but to call only MK1 "unfinished and rushed product". I care about the game, this is why we need to have this conversation. And it's not just about you F0xy, but the whole community as a whole. And if you think my points are not legit, you can call me out on anything. Nothing is off limits for both of us.
