I so enjoy your videos. As a 44-year-old woman, it can be difficult to take the more youthful influencers seriously; however, I find you mature beyond your years (in a good way - lol). You are so honest in your reviews, and the use of different lighting gives it a more objective feel. As far as primers -- I find water-based primers work well with water-based foundations and silicone-based with silicone-based. Rather obvious, but rarely, if ever, mentioned by influencers. Great work. TA

Which foundation would you recommend then that lasts 9+ hours? I'm currently using Maybelline Fit Me for oily skin (matte and poreless I think it's called?), but I would like to change into a new one (that's high coverage and not dewy). Loved the review by the way! :D

I really liked this foundation, I have acne and just a warning. Everytime I used it it's broken me out. I don't mean little spots they're big and angry. I'm not sure if it's the amount of fragrance that's causing sensitivity. Such a shame as it does cover nicely. Xx

Btw, is Angel Food your perfect shade? What shade are you in MAC or KvD? I know this foundation might not be the best for me, but I still want to try it. I’m very pale, but with yellow undertones. I was thinking of getting Panna Cotta but I’m really confused. I’m NC10 in MAC and L43 KvD Xx

hey!! I'm also NC10 in mac and very pale with yellow undertones and I got Vanilla. It's honestly my perfect shade match. I tried out Panna Cotta but it was ever so slightly too dark/yellow.

I have the Huda Beauty Faux Filter foundation and found I needed hardly any to cover my whole face and it lasted from 7.30am -9pm (when I took my make-up off) I have combination skin so that might be the reason it lasted all day? I also like a light-medium coverage and found it done the job well and even covered up a couple of small spots I had (when I added a little bit more to those places). I absolutely love it. I tried a sample first and then bought the full size from cult beauty. In regards to the primer I used about 1/4 of what was shown in the video (so just a nice light amount) so maybe too much of the primer was used which was why it felt so thick and heavy on the face. I agree it is slightly tacky but not too much (I have the full size of the primer also which I got in the cult beauty goody bag) I found it gave a lovely glow to my face but also matte at the same time and felt lovely on my skin (which was why I ordered the full size) I found you can achieve light-medium or full coverage with this foundation. But that is just my take on the foundation and primer and everyone is different and has different skin also. BTW I normally use Estee Lauder Double wear light and Estee Lauder Double Wear nude (So I like a slightly matte/demi matte finish and a light - medium coverage in case anyone is interested and I am 48 years young) Great review My Pale Skin and you are such a pretty and lovely lady also (both inside and out) Have a great day x

Jumbo Tampon ingredients are shit, alcohol and other shit that is so bad for skin, especially for acne prone skin. Look Tathayla video about this foundation and she linked the ingredients list and how it affects the skin.

That's subjective. For example: people say coconut oil and lavender are bad for your skin, but people like me greatly benefit from those ingredients. It's all about your skin and how it reacts to different things.

The reason they say you only need one pump is because full coverage is always misinterpreted. Full coverage doesn't mean it'll absolutely cover anything and everything, it means it'll cover general redness and uneven skin tone. Concealer is for covering blemishes and intense pigmentation. So keeping that in mind this is full coverage and one pump would be enough. They don't want people using multiple pumps and then complaining/blaming their cake face on the product. So I'm glad that you went in with concealer and didn't try to keep layering it over and over.

I wore this foundation for a show and although I liked the finish it just felt way too matte and heavy for my skin as I am a little dry & normally prefer a lighter and more dewy texture. Some of my friends who are more oily love it though!

I'm sure everyone is going to give you their two cents, and honestly acne isn't who you are so it doesn't matter. But i stopped using face wash and only use miceller water, with clay masks, and it's helped so much. You're beautiful either way but acne can hurt.

I recommend trying 100percentpure foundation! It's made 100% of natural ingredients like fruit etc, NO chemicals or silicone fillers. Seriously, this stuff is so good and my skin has not looked better or clearer!!

The primer is so heavily fragranced! I also found the foundation itself to be cakey and awful and not at all for me. So glad I tried samples and didn’t waste my money.
