Күн бұрынI was asked by the Texas A&M Department of Digital Marketing and Social Media to film down on the field for one of the most well known Aggie traditions; Midnight Yell! This is where the students gather in Kyle Field at midnight before the football game and "practice" our yells, although we all know them well! It's an awesome time, and I hope this video gave you a glimpse into what it's like to be an Aggie! Hopefully this also convinces some of you young kids to join me here at Texas A&M! I attended the 1986 Cotton Bowl game with the intention of cheering for Auburn (I didn't know a thing about A&M). My ticket was in the middle of thousands of Aggies, and by halftime I was hooked on Texas A&M. The Aggies came back to the Cotton Bowl the next two years, and it was so exciting having learned the words to the Aggie War Hymn, Yells and participating with them. 32 years later my son would graduate from this wonderful school!
