World zrugby is *literally* trying to show us only 6 Nations games and Boks vs All Blacks. Not all the Boks games, not all the All Blacks games, just when they play each other. Squidge is a better marketing dept for rugby that all the nonces and lawyers working for World Rugby right now. If Squidge was in charge of *just the marketing* of World Rugby, you'd see tier two teams starting to beat tier one teams regularly. Every tier one team would have to play a game in Fiji. Half the gate takings from Twickenham would go to develop rugby. Peace would reign throughout Earth, and homelessness and hunger would end.

Lots of great moments. As a Scot I felt the Scottish women’s winning their first piece of silverware was fantastic, to see Rachel Malcom get that title was amazing. Also the men’s team beating wales and getting the Doddie Weir cup after he passed away was special too.

I really thought the lunacy that was France v Scotland would have made the list. Surely a greater moment than Italy getting their hearts broken by Scotland yet again. And you're right, for Scotland to win the WXV2 and be able to stake a claim as 7th best team in the world, from where they've been, is immense. Bigger even than the win against Ireland.

That was a tome. Jeez you work hard. But thank goodness you do. So many great memories here. I especially enjoy seeing some great footage from some of the smaller players. Aside from teams like Uganda, Chile, Uraguay and Portugal, but also women's games, and obscure clubs and juniors. It all forms part of the big picture and embodies everything I love about this game. You okes do a great job. Thank you.

Hear about the brazilian girls winning that game against Portugal made me emotional. Brazilian rugby have a long and hard way to be something, but the girls are always giving me the pride of being brazilian and fan of rugby (sorry for my english 🙃)

That weekend of the quarterfinals is still in my mind the best weekend of rugby the world has ever seen. Nz v Ireland and France v SA were massive and then japan v argentina was a real back and forth arm wrestle and fiji v england was a nail biter of an underdog story with a bittersweet ending. All 4 games were amazing.

From South Africa. I can’t even put into words what it meant to see the boks win the World Cup again. I ran about a km around a field celebrating screaming my lungs out. And I tear up every time I see Barnes blow his whistle. Thank you so much for all your work Squidge ❤

Can’t describe how good this is. It’s brilliant you take time to appreciate the whole spectrum of rugby, from the World Cup, to Pro D2, to Madagascar, to even a Welsh school’s match. It all matters and please keep up the good work shining the spotlight on tier 2. Took me 3 days to fit in watching all of this while looking after a whingey 8 month old and it cheered me up at a difficult time. A big heartfelt thank you.

This is video is brilliant. Squidge you are the best ambassador for this beautiful game. World rugby should hire you. Also congrats to South Africa. As an Anglo-American that semi final was a painful. However the steely nerve of the South Africa team is something to behold. To win 3 such closely fought knock out games is impressive. They may not necessarily be the best team in the world, but they are the best tournament team in the world.

2 moments that got missed out: 1. France's unbelievable run to the U20s world title including heralding the arrival of Posolo Tualagi and Louis Bielle Biarrey. 2. Scotland 37-5 Wales. After years not being able to back up a statement win, Scotland beat England at Twickenham with all the talk in the week after being if they could finally back it up. To do so in style felt like a real moment of change for Scotland

U20 world champions were mentioned in this video. France won the trophy 3 times in a row. This year, all games won with more than 20 points ahead. Scottish rugby had a fantastic year ❤

Great content Squidge! Although, I am missing the U20s Spain team winning the U20 Trophy this year in Kenya. I was expecting to see this moment mentioned since it was so meaningful for the spanish rugby and put a lot of our youngsters in the map! It also was a great run full of great rugby, and memorable wins against Uruguay and Scotland, if I remember correctly. I am sure there are great things to come for spanish rugby in 2024! Cheers and thank you for the work you do, you are the greatest media asset to this sport by far

How does Cheslin Kolbe's charge down of the French kick not even show up in all these highlights. i've been watching rugby since 1984 and only seen a genuine conversion get charged down once: Kolbe's!!!! I've seen it happen in sevens and when the score was too far out for the result to be in doubt, but in a game that mattered?!?!? Once.

Thanks for all Squidge throughout the year. Sorry to see you get so stifled during the World Cup. Hopefully things will be better next time round. Thank you for the zombie mention and your on point presentation of it. I really thought we were going to get further. Beating a strong SA in the pools was a great achievement. And the Irelands phase play against NZ it will be a long time before I forget that. I walked out of the pub where there was more than one tear shed. Leinster and Ireland loses in the same year. It’s hard not to be down about it.

I sort of lost all interest in the World Cup when it was South Africa and New Zealand in the final. Felt like rugby had once again failed to move on. But this video and squidge’s content more generally remind me how great this sport can be - thanks for the positivity and passion, because cynical folk like me need it!
