I recently picked up some Vans Sk8-Hi Anaheim Pandas and the off-white colour mixed with the pink sides looks absolutely awesome. But after seeing this I kinda want those in clown-shoe. Just imagine how fast I'll be able to push off my longboard with that W I D E nose.

Dude, when I was in 7th grade (2002) Vans released a "Pro Model" line. The logo was a circle graph divided into 5 areas, colored in fade from black to white. I can't remember the name of the model, but I am sure it was Vans' answer to the Osiris D3. It had the same super puffed profile, three black stripes going down the side of the shoe and an air bubble cap on the toe. I'd give *anything* to have those bad puppies again, or find any info about them at least. Hell, I'd be happy by just watching a picture of them.

Savier were actually a really good shoe, me and my pals had a few pairs each. forward thining in the long lasting toe area and no stitching. so I completely disagree with that comment

The air walk office’s were in my hometown in the 90’s they would throw out garbage bags full of brand new shoes in the dumpster. I would sell the ones that didn’t fit me at school . I had snowboard boots and and bunch of shoes. After a while they caught on and started drilling holes in the souls or cutting them up

could you do a video on obscure skateboard brands? i had some shoes by SENS USA and they were incredible. for some reason, i never really saw anyone with them outside of the town i lived in (our skateshop/surfshop sold them).

I can understand why vans ventured to make other kind of shoes in the 80s. Skateboarding was almost dead in early to mid 80s. The sports shoes market was dominated by other brands and vans almost went bankrupt. When I started skateboarding in the early 90s, airwalks were the choice as they were affordable. A pair of vans could buy you almost two pairs of airwalks.

I own the airwalk Jim shoe at 5:00 in that same color. I always wanted the patent leather ones Robin Williams wore in jack. I'm a big fan of the airwalk one and the Jim shoe. I even own a staple airwalk shoe.

I had a pair of saviers, they weren't that ridiculous looking and I don't even remember how or where I got them, but they were actually really good to skate in. and they came with a bottle opener key chain that got some heavy use in my rebellious teenage years

I had to decline the offer because it took about three weeks to assemble properly with function and skateability. I used to mend dress shoes and boots for Red Wing. 🏆

I had the all white gym low. Flimsy sole. I broke the nose off my board kickflipping a bump and my front foot rolled forward. My foot folded completely in half. Broke 5 bones in my foot and had a cast for the summer and the fall semester Jr year. I never owned another pair of airwalk.

The Harley shoes were pretty dope.

I had the brown, Jason Dill Saviers, back in the day. They were from the original release of Savier shoes. Not big and bulky at all - actually quite the opposite. The Dills had a one piece, leather toe cap thing, going on. It was streamline. Inspired by a pair of Prada shoes. The Brad Staba and Brian Anderson models were also sleek and not bulky. Trust me, they were still weird AF. This was 20 years ago and I still remember people asking me, "why I had on dress shoes?" I didn't care lol That's why I bought the brown ones and because even 20 years ago, I knew Jason Dill was the fucking man!

Vans started off as the Van Doren rubber company they made all kinds of shoes and shit out of rubber they kinda accidentally became skate shoes. In the early 90s I went to a closeout store called Value City they had name brand shit at cheap prices..anyways they had some vans that were solid white looked like old man shoes and they had Van Doren on the label. Super old school. I regret not buying them as they are prolly worth money...or not. I hated the mid 90s bulky skate shoes with all the padding horrible. Seems like they are coming back tho.

I owned a pair of World Industries shoes back when I was in high school. I've never skated at all in my life and I could tell they were a crappy shoe. Didn't even hold up a month from just everyday walking.
