This show was a huge part of my childhood. Next to TMNT, Mario, Flash Games, My Nintendo DS, Lego, Transformers (The show and the Michael Bay movies I thought was good at the time), and Tom and Jerry.

This cartoon has literally became my most favorite cartoon over time, I can't really find a single bad thing about it besides its not ad good as it use to be, spongebob deserved the crown out of other cartoons for goodness sake, this was so goof it easily has taken the world by storm as time flied by, even now it is still as loved as it always was, Stephen hildaberg didn't just make a cartoon, he made a legend, a legend that will never be forgotten, not even in 100 years

It’s a staple for all late 90s early 2000s kids it just gets even better when older because you can understand it and it makes you laugh

the first three seasons of SpongeBob were classic. I grew up with the old SpongeBob episodes when I was a kid. I always love SpongeBob so much as an adult.

I am 27 years old. I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a day that has gone by that I haven't seen, thought about, or watched Spongebob at least once a day. Whether it's quoting something or seeing a meme, Spongebob is everywhere.

I dared to make videos explaining why Spongebob Squarepants has not lost its way forever (with Admirable Animations #25 and #33 in mind). In 2021, I explained how competing with the longevity of Rugrats by not quitting after 60 episodes makes it more memorable than Avatar: The Last Airbender's 60 episodes. In 2022, I explained why ViacomCBS had mercy on Stephen's grave to not Lower-Deck the Spongebob brand into oblivion for unclear demographics. Kamp Koral and The Patrick Star Show were not the abysmal spin-offs we expected them to be, and both surprised me with very good Halloween special episodes, and The Patrick Star Show and Spongebob Squarepants both really tried to make very good Christmas special episodes in 2021, and both were executed very well. You can not pretend the seasons after The Spongebob Squarepants Movie do not exist, because most episodes are not unwatchably bad overall, and we must learn to take the bitter with the sweet. I think Spongebob Squarepants, if it had ended at 60 episodes in 3 seasons and a movie...would probably be quickly eclipsed by Avatar: The Last Airbender's 60 episodes and 3 seasons, which started airing in the same year as The Spongebob Squarepants Movie. There are a lot of great episodes that Spongebob Squarepants would have never made if it did not dare to rival the longevity of Nickelodeon's first Nicktoon, Rugrats. it honestly makes me feel so bad how terrible the newer episodes are. it was one of my favorite shows as a child, and i’ve loved it. but seeing how lazy and boring the new episodes are just makes me so sad and they are just ruining tbe series.

From a production standpoint the video is good, but it takes very, very long to get to the part that actually tries t explain why spongebob is good. in 2/3 in not much reasns s have been mentioned and in the end the only real point I seems that its not realistic, but about relatability or how it feels? As a person who does not get why spongebob is different from other kids shows, I still do not feel I know the reasons now. It's a bit like a book with a huge fist and second act that build up towards a fight, and hten when the fight is there, it's hardly a fight and takes 2 minutes. The first half however is still good, but in my view would fit a video better that was at least like 25 minutes long, so the parts are more balanced. However, what I can imagine can be hard is why exactly something is good or popular. Hwever, this video's title gave the impression that it was about to explain this to me For example, I can see spongeboob and that friend do things that are dumb, which might be an appeal. Or i can see how them acting random is unexpected which viewers like ..etc These culd be reasons why it appeals to people

I'll NEVER understand why Spongbob is so Popular. I really hate it becuase it so Ubiquitus. and I proberly like Spongebob if it just ended or it was Short lived like only 13 episode and thats it.

Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love. Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans . The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us into His image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. We cannot purify ourselves, but Christ lived that perfect sinless, pure life and then allotted it to our "account". That's where our righteousness comes from. Not from any good, works that you or I could do. It is not based on the amount of good works we do. God starts the changes, He carries it on, and He completes it in those who let Him. It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him, again, through His power and instruction). He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if YOU had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place. He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, forgiveness, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it. He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way. NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus.
