Hey Coach I love your videos, im currently a Junior in high school and I’m trying to win the starting QB job for next year, 2 of the coaches (1 being the head coach) has told me they like my throwing. What should I do to make myself the best player possible and win the spot?

Gotta be better than the competition in all aspects of the position. Accuracy, arm strength, reading defenses, leadership and extending the play. If you’re the best in those areas, nobody should be able to compete with you

First down do you know any way to practice a backstroke if you previously lifted straight to 90

Take a light weighted plate or dumbbell- stand in front of a mirror and rep the back stroke. Adding some weight to it will increase the speed of the muscle memory developing. Hope this can help!

Hey coach, just some questions. Im a young guy 15, and pretty big for my age (i should be a lineman) but qb interests me more. I am big and should be able to throw far but my range is realy bad and I struggly to throw past 15-20 yards consistently when running practice routes with freinds. I try to practice throwing to catch what im doing wrong but my whole forearm and tricept area start paining and throbbing a ton and my arm feels super weak like I cant throw anymore. What do I do about this?

just do pushups on your knees until failure for a while. You'll get there, I used to be able to only do one or two pushups, but if you just do easier variations of the same movement until failure it will make you able.

Start with kneeling push ups or assisted push ups to a bench and work your way up. Everyone starts somewhere!
