I love their expressions when they see the collection... they are so in awe at all the stuff around them, it must be trully overwhelming. I'll be the same, to be honest.

Fun/ Sad Fact: I looked up the hat company and apparently unfortunately Gregory (the older guy) has actually passed away in like 2016 :'( But the hot guy still makes hats and his hats go for like 1k so he's definitely ballin'.

The "hot guy" is Nick, and he split from the "older guy" and took a bunch of Gregory's clients with him. His hats are over $1k, but you'll find far better made hats for less; his prices are arguably mostly just the label.

My local vintage store offers a selection of hats that cost more than most of her gowns and almost as much as a vintage fur coat. They feels super nice on the head.

@@TrollBot. price of his lids are mostly brand more than craftsmanship; you can definitely get far nicer hats for less from other custom hatters.

@@blakesby oh ok no wonder! I haven't heard from them in a while because it seems more like when Greg was alive he really did do good craftsmanship. Guess Nick thought he had the sauce, cuz I haven't heard of his hats, like at all. I think people who really have an eye for this sort of stuff know whats up, thanks for the info.

@@TrollBot. there's some old forum posts, on the Fedora Lounge, I reckon, where Westbrook chimed in and said something to the tune of Nick never really "got" the right techniques. I forget much else of what he had to say on the matter though.
