There are a few reasons this series was gonna be tough for the Clipps... their three stars are not dependable in any way, shape, or form. Luka had an off night earlier in the series, but still scored a 20 point triple double! That's how good he is! The Clipps are an experiment gone wrong. Balmer can thrown some $$$ around and get 4 first ballot Hall of Famers on his team, but that doesn't mean it's always going to work. Look, if you throw a plate of spagetti at the wall, some of it will stick, but most of it will slide down the wall into a red noodle pile of goo on the floor. I know one thing... I don’t think people are giving the Mavs enough credit in this serious. Maybe it’s too early to call it but I’m gonna flat out say it. The mavs were clearly the better team this series. They lost games 1 and 4 cause they came out weak in the first half and gotten their teeth punched in by the Clippers AND the clipper shot amazing from the field in both those games. And the mavs still made it close. The two games the clippers won they had to have high shooting percentages and the game had to be given to them by the Mavs essentially just so that they could barely win it out in the end. On the hand the Mavs wins have been decisive and they left very little room for the clippers to come back. This series was the Mavs to win the entire time and the only reason it’s not 4-0 is because the Mavs beat themselves by not being aggressive on defense and offense in the first half of their two losses, but I haven’t seen anything from the Clippers that makes me think they’re the better team this series
