I’ve been watching your channel for a couple years and you are one of my favorites. I’m a71 year old female and I was raised on a working farm and remember those days fondly now, back then as a teenager, not so much. I appreciate how you value everything by using and reusing materials. This is lost art on today’s youth where everything is disposable. I find myself letting your episodes build up for a while and do a binge watch.

Amazing video. Never hurts to slow down, spend some time fixing water leaks, or climbing on hay bales. We enjoy all of it. Especially knowing I used to do all of it, but wouldn't attempt it now. Great life style! Totally enjoyed!. Wishing the best for you and your family. In a few years your son and daughter will be climbing for you!!!

Here's an idea for that old trough, use it for a garbage collector like you did with the big Rubbermaid tub and then when it's full, haul the whole thing to the dump. That way, eventually you'll eliminate several problems at once.

Thanks. You did a good job getting that old water trough up and working for you. You might consider buildings quick 2X4 frame around it out of junk lumber and using it for this next season rather than repairing all the little holes in the metal one. You say you only need it for a season. Thanks for another great innovative video. Can’t wait to see what critters are using the barn this year. Have a good week.

I was concerned when you were taking down a round bale using your tractor. Years ago in Saskatchewan, a farmer was loading a large round bale. The bale slipped backwards and the results were not good. He was killed. I mention this so you are aware of what can happen. We enjoy your channel. Take care.

I never realize cattle were so noisy when they drink water. Tyler, I thought I saw everything on the farm but you throwing water at the cattle, as if to try to say, “ here’s the water …come over here and drink it!!” …which worked obviously😊❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ I enjoyed this video. I live in Kansas and winter takes a toll on water tanks so some farmers have been buying burial vaults that are rejected for whatever reason and using those for water tanks for the livestock . Just something for you to think about.

try unrolling a hay bale over the cattle trails that have been seeded, which works good for me, even without tilling the soil

Would you consider building your own stock tank. Had one like your galvanized one. Built my own it's lasted decades and still going strong. Nice to see your repair holding out👍

How was Thanksgiving dinner? Have usually found fresh food is way tastier . Cattle found the water ! Fixing the leaks worked. Cattle, turkeys and chicken are looking good. Good on ya FTR.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing what critters you capture on your trail cam. If you do you decide to only make Shorts out of them, would you mind also stringing them together in a weekly compilation? I know I'm in the minority but I absolutely despise Shorts. I would be ever so grateful if you would consider cobbling them together into a longer video.

You need to build a hay unroller. You have the skills, it would be a good project and it would give you some good counterweight for when you’re reaching way up for those top rolls.

I noticed your barn appears to use incandescent lights above the hay bales. As a safety measure, I think I would replace those bulbs with some lights that are less of an ignition threat. I know of someone who was badly burned by the ignition of cold diesel oil spraying on a hot light bulb causing it to shatter.

Use bed liner to coat the inside of your metal water tank. It will stop the rusting from within. Then use it on the outside and the bottom. Leak problem solved.
