As a motorcyclist (outside london mostly) I see about two dozen cyclists everyday. Ther always ONE or two who do something something so amazingly stupid I am thinking "I really shouldn't have braked then, shoud have just taught him a 300kg lesson". However, kudos to you for knowing what red lights mean, for every road user.

well at 2:15 you don't help your case very much by crossing that stop line with a red light against you... and I'm more worried about the fate of that motorcyclist the ambulances were in attendance for... some cage driver has obviously pulled out on him from that junction.

You get your own lane, but can't even ride responsibly within it: passing each other randomly by a cocktail of over- and undertaking, weaving dangerously close to the any vehicle lane and moving into it briefly just to gain extra room because your own lane is so chaotic. You all need to pass a proper test, ride either single-file or two abreast in cycle lanes, and pay appropriate insurance because you are a danger on the road - a danger, you are so far up your own backsides to acknowledge.

+Evo Lucas, at 2:15 you are ahead of the stop line for bikes, are you allowed to do that? I am interested as I am a very keen cyclist and I use a camera on my helmet and have cycled for many years yet i always thought crossing the stop line at a red light was counted as going through a red light.

Tell you what i am a cyclist and from what i have seen most cyclists have no respect for cars and their the ones who are going to come off worst

Most cyclists try to obey the traffic regulation because most cyclists want to get home alive. However the lack of regulation and statutory training and test is putting cyclists at risk. I drove down a main road in my town with a cyclist to my left front riding perfectly safely until he came up to a parked bus. Without looking round he simply pulled right out in front of my truck and I had to swerve into the path of oncoming traffic to save the guys life. I pulled up beside him and quite calmly told him he should look round whereupon he screamed at the top of his voice 'FUCK OFF'. Sadly this is an all too common response from cyclists. All I wanted too do was save him from an early grave. Why are cyclists so aggressive and abusive (and don't fall back on the age old accuse 'cos the drivers are'). I don't get it from them.

"cyclists we love to hate" is not very fitting as Every hates All cyclists regardless. In Australia expect to cop abuse even when you are doing everything right. They will sit behind you blaring their horn just for the fun of it, even on empty straight roads where they can pass easily. I have permanent hearing damage from people that have done this, and scarring from where they use their wing mirrors as weapons.
