Place a ratchet strap round the centre of the tyre and give it a nip, pushes the bead closer to the lip, then bead blast it. You can get tyre sealant, like grease, it’ll seal as you go as well. Great video as always, keep those kids safe round those tractors. Can’t believe the little ‘un is walking now! I use a blow torch to get the BBQ started, and a bit of wood in a “chimney”, no nasty tastes then. Stay safe out there.

I am a tyre fitter. Come across this everyday. Spray some deodorant or brake cleaner round the rim. Light it. Then in with air line in value. Sorted.

Yes Chris, used to work in the septic tank business, try Jetting the soak away pipe back into your tank, if that doesn't work then its dig up and put a new one in 👍🤣😲 Loving the old tractor content 👍😎

I've always used a ratchet strap round a tyre, squeezes the middle in, and the sides out.

Can't offer any technical advice, but can contribute a farmer grandfather whom I called Grandad Tractor as a 70s infant. Bear of a respectable man who used to drive his Austin Allegro estate in the same size 11 or 12 wellies that he drove a Massey in, always wondering why the old leaded petrol seemed to resemble Kangaroo juice as his feet got snared around or slipped off the pedals, but never realising why.... Never a dull moment in that car, but plenty of underwear worrying occurrences.... Keep 'em coming.

agreed, i had problems getting run flats to seat on my xc90 when changing tyre. once i set compressor at 10bar on regulator, used 1/2" airline straight from tank to external regualtor, took out inside of shrader, they now seat straight away. so lesson is you need lots of air flow.

hi chris next time you are struggling with a tyre off the rim try a span set around the circumference tighten and that will squeeze the bead against the rim

Remember back in the 80s we had a small grey massey, to start it u pushed a kind of bass button with the side of your heel when sitting in the seat and pushed the gear stick up to the side at the same time well that's how l remember it, love the videos Chris woo woo 👍👍

I have fond memories of haytiming when I was a young lad, I was too small to lift the bales up to the trailer so they put me on driving the tractor, It was the first time i had driven a tractor and set off with a bit of a jolt losing a load of bales off the back! I think its a great idea to get the lads on it

we always packed em up wi plenty + plenty of ewd grease both sides and sledgehammer tread whilst blowin up and rollin about. If all else fails stick a new tube in, but check for nails/punctures int tyre first Chris. you can get that block properly stitched up, not a big job for a proper welder and cast rods. If you put a ratchet strap around the circumference of the centre of the tyre it pushes the sides walls out to seal to the bead. then you can get air in the tyre then take the ratchet strap off and inflate it

Cracked exactly same as mine,which pisses water out till engine hot then Tadahh! it seals up,welding always looks shit but can be done,metal stitching is the job but needs a bob or two to sort

Here comes an outhere comment 😂😂 I’ve seen a seized engine become un-seized by using the full fat coke!! He poured it in and within 48 hours was able to turn the engine, the acidic properties in Coke eats at the rust, 100% genuine, see what Coke does to a 2p coin overnight !! Dirty trick for blowing tires on bead I use is crow bangers. Pop them in tyre, light and run away 😂

Chris, if the Diesel don't work, try some Wd40 the stuff that comes in 5L container, it's anti seize, might work if the Diesel don't

Needs tyre soap or washing up liquid will do it

Tidy little Fergie, the 12v blocks are quite common to crack in that area, we have one that has done the same 😅. I havent done it yet but I have seen people drill along the crack and put screws in along it then grind the heads off to stitch it together.

now that was what you call a struggle with regards to the cracked engine block you could try use dis similar welding rods for cast or get it metal stitched depends how for you wan't to go with it Chris if you get it turning over . that tyre was a fucker new you would get it in the end 👍
