I was just about to enter high school when MTV hit the cable waves (here at least) in 1982. This and Red Skies were heavy in that first rotation of video plays. I was into harder songs usually but I thought they were extremely unique and interesting. They had lyrics worth listening to and a sound truly their own. No question they were mega-talented.

Attended a Fixx concert in Fresno with the Police in the early 80’s in their prime superb, actually saw them twice in Fresno in two mega super concerts 😎 ever lasting memories 😎😎

Saw The FIXX in Vancouver 1000 years ago @ The Vogue with my Girlfriend The Stage Performance ! Sound ! You HAD TO GET UP AND MOVE ..But as People Stood Up To Dance They were Ushered to Sit Down ...Such A Buzz Kill !
