12:35 work on SFA started on the CPS1, but it was recoded and launched on CPS2 hardware for several reasons, to take advantage of the qsound system and to prevent piracy, also it was a way for Capcom to geti rid of leftover CPS1 system that were obsolete at this point

Gotta love gaming history, all these consoles since the late 70,s have been a big factor in my life from the Atari 2600 to the NES and all the way up until the Nintendo switch...I'm 45 and I'm never stopping console gaming as long as I live...I think gaming in general either if it's PC or the Nintendo switch ya gotta think that it's made for a better place on this planet....cheers George here from Australia 👍🏾 Great work

Edit: Maaaan, $300? That's a steep price for 2 extra elephants in Dhalsim's stage. Though in a world where the AES was a $650 monstrosity, it was a surprisingly decent deal... except no games came out for it, and the Neo-Geo AES was 4 years old at this point. This is one of the rare times KZfaq actually recommends a great channel. Every time I see the CPS Changer or PC-Fx covered it legitimately makes my day. I wish you nothing but success, señora Decade.

Great video. I would maybe add that Capcom being an Osaka company they tend to have their own private very Kansai-y in-house culture (I put that in a very euphimistic fashion). SNK is also from Osaka. I have a good friend who worked at Capcom Osaka for years but he is shy as any dev still working in the jp game industry. Now I think about it, the Osaka fighting games war sounds like an interesting title. You are welcome! You can still find cartridges in some shops in Akiba (for a price).

*Fun Fact:* There is an alternate universe where Bandai-Namco and Capcom started as first-party, while Nintendo and Sega were always third-party to begin with. This is true only if you believe in alternate timelines, of course.
