Yes the story is great and the wait can be annoying, but you do have to play it shortly after release if you browse social media because of the rampant spoilers.

we do have connection to nanook though, since you draw his gaze on hertas space station. we have a stellaron inside and stellarons are connected to nanook.

I have a feeling everything was never a dream. I mean they said the Family BUILT all of those and even more areas still unfinished. The system reminded me of Avatar (movie), where you reside a new body and somehow what happened to that body also affect our body(?). If it's in the system of Inception (movie) the whatever to our body should've just wake us up.

yeah the mc may be following the path of the trailblaze but has caught the gaze and power blessings from both destruction and preservation so far. even the annihilation gang and ipc havent caught their aeons gazes.

I get that most people who play the game probably dont care toooo much about the lore or atleast not the lore that is given outside of the main quests..but I can see maybe tectone reacting to the videos and thus it getting more traction, pls atleast consider it and start with a really interesting topic that hopefully pays of well views-wise and then you continue from there :D

He plais it casually, not really getting deep into the lore. I don't think it's worth the time for him to invest in this unless he will fall in love with the game after Penacony and want to do it for fun.

@@MiiMavis Well if you pulled for Kafka and play DoT teams, the new character Black Swan propels them to godhood. Kafka literally went from meh to god like since her release in 1.2 update. Her lightcone "Patience is all you need" describes us Kafka mains as we watched her get better every patch since her release. Also for those who wants to future proof from getting power-crept; getting Jingliu for DPS, Fu Xuan for tank and Ruan Mei for support (she is literally best universal easy to build/low investment support) are best choice.

@@MiiMavis Kafka is one of the most future proof DPS character. Black Swan made this even more evident.

i'm also a kafka main,@@rimuruimuru is right. The dot characters that were played with kafka were only 4* so that's kinda normal they got power creped. The only 5* that really got power creped for now is jing yuan

That just sounds like salt and a toxic attitude. A lot of people play both, and I wish that HSR had a lot of things Genshin has as well. I'm just glad when content comes out and isn't shit. Luofu really sucked out a lot of the fun of HSR and I am glad to see it back in shape with Penacony. Hopefully it doesn't fall flat.

@@gamestory2834 Luofu was good and Genshin hasn't got anything better then star rail because they were pretty much the same layout on launch while genshin refuses to change things star rail keeps making adjustments to genshins formula. Can you actually name anything that genshin has over star rail besides obviously the gameplay difference

@@HollowHeart771 just my personal preference, but I enjoyed Fontaine's story over anything that HSR offered story wise. It's impressive how they made Furina into one of the most hated to the most beloved character in a single act. Characters like Neuvillette, Navia, Lyney, and Wriothesley also were very well crafted. The twists paid off well and Paimon wasn't even that annoying. She's gotten less annoying since Sumeru, although the biggest thing holding her and the traveler back is that she still often speaks on behalf of them. Penacony is shaping to be very interesting though, for sure, and I'm excited to see how the story will pan out. I disagree that the Loufu was good. It had a good premise, but was executed very poorly. Tingyun's death was just shock value like Signora's. Dan Heng's whole arc was very rushed, and most of the characters in the Loufu didn't get enough screentime or development. They should have had more stuff about the High Cloud Quintet instead of making it into animated trailers on youtube or keeping it locked behind Jingliu's quest. There was a lot of yapping that barely progressed the story. It did not help either how the interlude was hella short and they made us wait an entire patch just for 30 minutes of story that could have easily been added to the end of the previous act. Welt did not do anything at all either, which is very frustrating. The ending cutscene was very good, but that could not salvage what the story was. I prefer the artifact system in Genshin than HSR's relics, although both are pretty trash. Having an offpiece really makes a difference. The self-modeling resin in HSR always gave me trash and it hasn't made a huge difference for me. Having to farm 2 different places for relics for the same character is also tedious. Especially since simulated universe is time consuming. Getting spd boots and energy regeneration ropes is one of the most frustrating things to get. You also have to worry about more stats like break effect, effect res, effect hit rate, etc. Leveling up traces is also far more expensive than it is in Genshin. I think HSR has gotten a lot more right than what Genshin has but this is what I think Genshin did better.

The shocking part is the walking are shown simultaneously with the glowing yellow slope, you can take step stop step another stop until you arrive at the wall that simultaneously became the floor. Cmiiw, but I think in Genshin the floor swapping were happened off screen. Not streamline smoothly frame by frame shown to us happening.

Funny enough, it seem like they made testing for it using Honkai Impact beforehand with the Kolosten Arc

@MagnusSorcererKing i'm very excited to hear that. I already loved Belobog and am only about 1 hour into the 2nd Planet rn (which I heard isn't as popular storywise). The writing in this game has been very engaging and fun so far. I'll definitely keep at it! :>

@@PKMono I personally love Loufu story(second planet), but it has a big flaw - it’s truly shines if a player is a lore nerd like me, who loves reading about aeons, many in game lore texts and so on. But without digging into it, Loufu lose quite a lot of its complexity and tragedy. But with help from lore tubers everything is achievable. So again, depends on personal tastes and preferences. Anyway, have an outstanding journey beyond the stars!
