That description of Mansfield Park sounds appealing. That’ll have to be the next Austen novel that I get to.

I agree, the clothbound classics look gorgeous but they wear really badly! I haven't read Mansfield park yet, but I own a copy. Fun tag and enjoyed your answers.

Thank you so much for doing the tag! I do wish you all in the UK could get Girl Scout cookies, because they are delicious. Now, even though I just finished off eating a few Thin Mints, I have to admit that Adventurefuls are my (current) favorite.

I'm kinda tempted to try and bake some, the homemade versions of Samoas look very good. When I was a kid we didn't really have girl scouts at all, we had a separate thing called girl guides.

Thank you so much for tagging me! So interesting that you chose Mansfield Park. I don’t hear a lot of people talking about Fanny. And you can’t go wrong with LOTR… it will probably feature when I do this tag. As far as Girl Scout cookies… for anyone else from any other country I would be so sad that you have not experienced Girl Scout cookies but I work with several “Brits” who sometimes receive packages from the UK and recently experienced the joy of jammy dodgers and I fell in love hahaha One day we will have to exchange jammy dodgers for Girl Scout cookies 😂

I'm not a fan of American chocolate so maybe our biscuits are better, Chocolate Hobnobs are the best but we do dunk our biscuits in tea here so that affects our rankings. Jammy dodgers are decent.

I had no idea you could get girl scout cookies at military bases. I have endurance on my TBR. It sounds like a wild story! I had no idea that the High Fidelity film was American. 😂 Wow, what a beautiful edition of LOTR. The Pastel City sounds quite interesting. I was a girl scout and sold my fair share of cookies. Thin Mints and Tagalongs are definitely my two favorites. Samoas are very popular and I've grown to like them as an adult but as a child I was completely bewildered by them. 😂

Samoas look the best to me, Tagalongs sound nice too, I love all peanut butter related snacks. I have the Silmarillion in the same edition, and I'm getting the hobbit next Christmas, they come with multiple maps too. We don't have children coming to our house to sell us cookies, I genuinely think they would have been robbed where I come from haha.

I’ve been wanting to read Endurance! Thanks for confirming it’s a good choice. I hope you get a chance to taste some Girl Scout cookies! Thin mints and peanut butter patties are my fav.

I like Mansfield Park too. I read it for the first time a couple of years ago and, while it's not my favourite Austen, I do think it has heaps to offer. The only one of hers I haven't read now is Sense and Sensibility, although I'm very familiar with the film. Think I might read that in July.

I love Sense and Sensibility, I was expecting not to like it as much because people rank that lower too but I just think all her books are great. I do think it has the best film too.

Girl Scout cookie season just ended last month and I was swerving into all their little stands while they were out 😅 I didn't even know High Fidelity was a book lol, I just knew the original movie and the TV show adaptation that came out a couple of years ago with Zoe Kravitz, did you see it? I think I remember enjoying it but don't fully remember lol

There's a TV show! No I didn't know that, I'll check it out. The book is a lot of fun, he also wrote About A Boy which has a movie.
