I would love to work on a crab boat and I comme from ny.. how can I apply to start a new career not just a job. I love fishing and I been on the water ever since I was a kid?? Please help

Are there only boats in Alaska? Can you do it with no experience?

There's boats everywhere there's ocean, but AK and the west coast of the US is the only place in America you can catch salmon. No matter what harbor you're on you can find a job by walking the docks and showing your value. You don't need experience, but you do need to be a hard worker and quick learner. If you've got that and a good attitude, someone will hire you!
