That’s maneuvering is unbelievably good. Noob question: could you clarify rules about ruins. Why didn’t you blast ghostkeel in upper left corner with 3 riptides. When something is in ruins its visible. Isn’t it?

Thank you so much for the feedback it means a lot 🙂. Now in answer to your question, in tournament settings the first level of terrain counts as blocked out so there is no LOS into the ruin. Also something has to physically be inside or on the footprint of the ruin or touching the piece of terrain to be seen. If you're standing behind you can't be seen as it is classed as obscuring.

Step 11 of the Leviathan Chapter Approved battle rules: Players alternate resolving any pre-battle rules units from their army may have, starting with the player who will take the first turn.

Yes the way we played it was right, I just doubted myself for a second. The person who goes first does all their scout moves then it goes over to the person going second. It doesn't alternate.

The Manoeuvre is that you use Pathfinders to allow more devilfish to scout move out of your deployment zone to then spring board the Pathfinders out further and then breachers advance and get in the devilfish. Then the devilfish can move out.
