Bus has been removed June 18th 2020 and going back to the rightful owner. Please keep posting the history of this bus it's fascinating

It didn't go back to the rightful owner. It was moved to the university of Alaska museum in Fairbanks.

A road crew towed it to that spot when they were improving roads in the area a long time ago. They abandoned it where they put it. [This was the claim made by a comment on another video]

The bus is moved but stampede trail will never go anywhere. I lived in Healy and at one point off of stampede. Many friends still living there. It's easy to get to the bus in winter, the tatlinika river is treacherous during breakup and summer and had taken many rigs and lives. You really have to know what your doing to get there in summer.
