Either TRM talked to the mod dev and got them to change the market value of the droids, or another mod is messing with them. When I look at the market values of those 3 mechadroids in the defs, they are 1750, 2000 and 2000 for Alpha, Delta and Gamma respectively. EDIT: Mod was updated Nov 9 at 2:43am, likely after TRM played this and edited the video. LIkely had time to talk to the dev of the mod in that time.

To be honest this series should have first been named "The Impossible run" from the first episode, cause even with the godly traits, on max difficulty with maximum threat level your in for a real pain. again, unfortunate of what happened from your last run, but rimworld is always about evolving and changing how you work, plus with the large amount of mods for rimworld you can never truly get bored. glad to see you also enjoy this game, cause you used to sound tired with other games I saw you play.

Embrasures do funny things to rooms. It will say it is an indoor space but if you select an item stored in the room it will show deteriorating because of outdoors

dont worry about save scumming. i had like 800 wealth with 4 colinists. i got a raid of 38 super soldiers with lmgs and charge rifles.

I suggest using [JPT] Human Resource mod next time. Research is basically tied to per colonist which means a research done by one person can only be made by that person. But you can help the others in researching by having that person document that tech and put it in your library. Every pawn in Rimworld will have their own "techs" they bring over depending on their backstories. It'll make interesting situations where Builders will be the ones who need to study these techs because they need to be able to build it once its done being researched. And having a pawn die basically means loosing those ability to build stuff unless you document it and have those books in the ready for the next pawn to inherit those techs. Also you need to learn the weapons you get too. so medieval/tribal peeps cant just equip and use laser rifles they found on the spot.

How you gonna orbital trade if your tech is limited to medieval?

those mechs are gamy though because you can just intentionally let them power down and power them up when a raid is coming but they add so little wealth that those raids are going to be a lot less tough than they would have been if they where powered up. you could have whole armies on standby without causing your wealth to go up that much.

OK, just to be clear 31F is cold enough to kill off every plant except like trees and heal root so I would maybe take 31 to mean your plants can easily die I played in a warmer location and got a cold snap, poof no plants and the area was labelled as "always summer". Hell then I got volcanic winter, and to be honest, I no longer understand how good or bad that is but when it started I walled in my growing areas destroying all my fenced in areas and adding in the things you need and when the event eventually moved on I took out the roofs but I wasn't going to now put back the fences.

Where did you modify the difficulty to reduce instant kills to 0%? Is that a mod?
