There is a mod where the individual pawns have their own knowledge in what equipment they can use or build. So if you capture a pawn from the empire he or she could use high tech gear yet a tribal pawn would have no knowledge of charge rifles. The mod is know as ”human resources”. Could be a bit more interesting if not balanced then your entire faction being limited by your tech level.

I will say it again from the last series, if you are going to nurf your self with limiting weapon usage then at least allow your self to do normal research, especially now if you plan to have ammo since even if you get op weapons you won't be able to use them infinitely.

trmplays needs to start with easy difficulty and when he thinks he is ready, he changes to impossible difficulty and try to survive.

Use the IMMORTALS mod and make ur starting character immortal, the way it works its hella fun imo, a character dies and after a bit, less than a day id say, ur character passively regenerates the worse injuries and eventually ressurect, cant regenerate limbs tho so at least its got that, u might live a raid by reviving but u might not have an arm, and lastly, immortals die if whatever their brain is is destroyed check it out ffs

Being enemies with all factions while using Rimwar will result in getting barely any breathing room. Sometimes the storyteller raids will overlap and you'll get hit by 2-3 at once. Rimwar is honestly amazing and insane.

Embrasures are historically very overpowered, which didn't stop people from being total saltlords when they lost. I would love to see you play with the Frost and Fire mod, it's based off Kenshi (with beak things and blood spiders), and has insanely hot summers and insanely cold winters, and a barren environment so you need to use hydroponics.

You should use the Pawnmorhper mod again for your next mod, it is definitely a cool mod that lets you turn you and your enemies into freaks of nature. It also was the reason why the Chaovix was on the colonist menu since she was a sapient human.

A great thing about (Aside from them being a more aesthetically pleasing and balanced Thrumboain) Is their faction and lore. Next colony you should try to recruit one, because they're the only species capable of wielding a Thrumkin Sword which might aswell be an early game Monosword. I think you can get them from weapons traders and exotic goods traders, and, if you give a thrumkin that and some good armor, they become a real General Stonewall. And i agree with the comments, adjust the difficulty as you go

Use the ignorance is bliss mod. It limits the tech level of enemy raids and missions to your tech level and whatever tier above you want. If you’re tribal you can limit it to animal, tribal, and medieval tech only. Once you hit medieval then industrial can start raiding you, etc.

Creepy breathing will effect recrutment. However if he is the only one recruting. they will get so many buffs so quickly that creepy breathing wont matter.

Good run, feels like that tomb upped your value a lot and made the raids hit a lot harder. Seems like colony value management is super key to keeping the raids manageable cause the one person raids in the beginning of the series were hard, but not too hard. Maybe doing more research to allow your colonists to be able to use more powerful weapons before getting more colonists or increasing value is important, but you didn't start of with a researcher, so...

Most predators tend to stun with their attacks, thats why the shock animal was stunned. If they get lucky they can permastun someone and kill them, specially smaller animals.

A former human has more worth in game than if it was just an animal or a regular human. They count as a colonist and creature at the same time and and increases wealth a lot.

I was playing with the mods you have and I'm pretty sure the embrasure makes storage areas count as "outdoors" so you should probably remove those even though they provide an area to shoot out of so your food and stuff doesn't spoil.

Would still love to see a rimwar focused playthrough. Where you have your own kingdom and take over places and whatnot

It takes 2 or more in game years for a former human to become permanently feral if they are mostly feral already. That one is Sapient so it should be good for the entire series.

Embrasure - I love them and it isn't like it is fake they are honest to goodness real and used in that time frame of bows and guns though big cannons/artillery kind of made them pointless. Well except here in Manitoba Canada we built a fort in the north and the French attacked and we surrendered so they tried to destroy the fort and as I heard it they failed misserably because the walls where too thick for the ship cannons. Shame the fort was defended by like zero soldiers and something like 40 workers. So I vote keep the embrasures.

He's like the halfway point between Rarr (who usually does funny one-off episodes) and Pete Complete (very coherent storylines and always has something to show). Pawns have a low chance to throw dirt/sand in other pawns eyes when getting into melee. I'm guessing that's why your ram got stunned by the fox

Man, people are mad that the runs keep ending quickly but the point of rimworld is that its a story generator. You're supposed to lose sometimes, and gloriously seeing a colonist get wiped from existence is priceless. Definitely my favorite run yet lmao.

Embrasures are not broken, I don't know many if any people that play without them, its a pretty necessary mod and everyone I've watched uses them. Ps, you definitely need to start with a easier difficulty, cause the hardest difficulty spawns 3x more raids than average and mods can sometimes conflict with the difficulty settings since you shouldn't have been getting guys in flak armor with rifles and machine guns at such a short time.

Fun to watch, but yeah *way too much going on in the mod department.* Mods are best used as light seasoning to an extremely difficult near-vanilla run, not the main course of any dish. Also: embrasures are historically precedented, which is great, but their ventilation is too good and keeps you from needing to be ever spend steel on vents. *I’d probably nerf them to make it them uglier to look at than wooden barricades.*

You should try and do a full medieval play through with faction ctrl so no factions with guns and other such mods. also embrasures are great!

500% threat may be a bit much buddy. Also, I feel like your restriction should be the opposite - make it so you cant make any weapons beyond maybe a club or a bow, and anything else has to be stolen from the enemy.

I would say you don't need the cooler but you have that mod for random tech. But still, do you really need a cooler? I suppose it depends a bit if you have a cave you can hide in the temp is usually cooler in the cave. I'd say make hats but you can't :P but maybe you could go to town and buy some. Anyway, nice kill on the robot guy I figured you where dead.
