I really loved this mod because it feels like the other factions are actually doing something. I played on a world with scarce populace to see how they expand and grow and its really interesting, the pirates capitol got annihilated early, a friendly faction expanded near me and instead of being angry for being close I just get constant trade events, the other factions have to go through them to get to me. So they only way other factions attack me is by drop pods. I see the whole world being divided 3 years in game time where you can see clear borders. This mode is dope and renewed my love for the game, raid events feel more natural rather then random events to solely destroy you.

I normally dont recommend things but I just wanted to say that I think a good idea for a series would be a roleplay heavy "Gone with the Blastwave" playthrough with the "Gone with the Rimwave" mod as well as whatever else should be in it. It would be a good small colony, survival series.

At least the shuttle civilians stayed out of harms way. For me very time it was the armoured guy that was hiding or not closest to enemies. I had to start building walls quickly around their landing area just to give them a chance. Also I got a masterwork slate double bed from helping refugees. It can take awhile for any reward to come out of it. But a masterwork double bed means two colonists can get much more comfortable, or at least sell for a bit more or can be deconstructed into resources. So it's not a loss either way. The reward isn't a guarantee though. Recruiting them forcefully may be better if they don't freely join. Keeping them high on drugs is easy way to make them happy, increasing chances though.

Modern Pokemon is aimed at kids waaaaaay more than it used to be, and it's always been primarily aimed towards kids and teenagers. IMHO gen 5 was the peak.

You arrested that ancient so all of them will be hostile now. Don't ask me how they know... Also, with Run and Gun you have to shift click their movement or it resets their aim time. It can be kind of finicky for things like snipers and launchers.

At 16:51, if you shoot the rhinoceros then they'll aggro on the mechs. Manhunter animals target active mechs the same as humanoids. ETA: the NPC figured it out at 18:30. Wisdom of the ancients!

tstop clicking so much durring combat, every time you set new destination, the aiming resets, so if someone had 0.1 sec until shot it resets to new aim again, so some of them dont even shoot. try using shift+Click, as i remeber then it does not reset. havent played in a while, but as i remember it should be fine.
