Virtually every record store holds back the best stuff they find for eBay or other internet sales. Virtually, not literally because this guy doesn't. Everything he finds (that he doesn't abscond with for himself) goes into the bins, rewarding his customers who patronize his shop. Good for him! :)

That Ten Years After ‘Stonedhenge’ is one of the best sounding records I own - super dynamic and a fantastic album too. I’m not sure if the misaligned/cropped Abbey Road is a true first pressing, but it’s certainly an early pressing. Absolutely killer sounding record either way tho.

Most stores pay 20-40$ of resale value, (I pay 30%), 65% is a lot, unless they are quick sellers. But, to keep the store looking enticing good to have stock, even at times those that don't make much or any profit.

I would love to purchase the pentangle albums - by far the most talented band of the folk scene in England. I have reprise copies but no UK pressings

When I see your collection and some of these collections that you purchase, it's hard for me to call myself a collector. It's a good thing I don't live near your store ... I'd be divorced for sure😂.

you should hang on to that UK version of "paul simon songbook" -- it's early demo versions of S& G classics he recorded in england. the "i am a rock" is practically emo. and the cover is him and his british girlfriend "kathy", the inspiration for one of the most beautiful love songs in popular music history. not super expensive but cool record nonetheless.
