These are great. When Im just around town or the house I carry one of these in place of a bigger model. A couple years ago I gave out a bunch of these to family members, they all had a good laugh cuz its so typically me. Over the next few weeks I kept getting messages from them all saying how damn handy it was and how much use they were getting from it. Even now, every time I see them they share stories of how it saved them countless times.

I've been using the Squirt PS4 for 13 years. Use it constantly. I love it and it has always been in my pocket. Hasn't rusted but I have used it under ideal conditions.

I prefer the PS4 over that one, because of the scissors. The best scissors in my book is the bigger brother of that one, the Juice S2. A far better choice in my estimation. But this one beats to hell the crappy Gerber Dime

Nick I just picked up the ps 4 I also picked up leather work gloves and immediately used the ps 4 to remove the Staples from the packaging of the leather gloves so it was a major plus right off the bat i always a carry the leatherman wave or gerber mp 600 along with one of my many Case knives but the squirt is definitely going to be very useful in my day to day carry the scissors are perfect for cutting fishing line after tiring knots it does seem a bit pricey for me for such a little tool but i’m kinda addicted to knives and multi tools lol it seems to be perfect for many day to day uses Especially in the summer when I might be wearing shorts and don’t have to lug it around multitool

I actually get a lot of use out of the scissors and personally never used an awl (aul?) when i have a tool equipped with one.

They should make an AS4, bring back the awl and micro screwdriver and have the scissors replace the knife. Would that be TSA compiant?

Well, I listened to all that ranting about the scissors on the newer version supplanting the older awl tool... and I agreed, so went out and found a few beautifully preserved P4’s... and since then the only tool I’ve used consistently has been the scissors on my PS4 version!!!! So that’s what I carry and the others are in a drawer collecting dust. So go figure!

I really liked the small carabiner on the leatherman and also on the victorinox Minichamp. Where can we get it and cost...?? Is it secure enough..?

This is why I carry a Micra instead. Not only do I get a very functional pair of primary scissors, it also retains the screwdrivers AND adds a pair of tweezers. There's a good reason why it's been in continuous production for about 20 years now. ;)

There was a rare knifeless Squirt S4, a file replaced the blade. It's a prized MT in my case.

Looks like there is brand new one for sale in Craigslist CA. Other than that he's right it's hard to find a new one.

I guess manufacturing cost is the only thing stopping a manufacturer from making a 3 sided Phillips, notch the scale and you’re set. Would be much more capable than 2

ive had the ps4 for about a week. i keep it on a carabiner with a victorinox cadet in my jacket as my backup. i really love the skeletool for my main multi tool for edc. i did try to edc the ps4 so i hung it from my pocket with a tec p7 suspension clip. it IS super light and small so it rode easily, but i didnt want it on the keychain with the rest of my keys. i actually bought the squirt ps4 on accident. i wanted the juice and got confused and thought i was getting a steal for 30 bucks hahaha. oh and i REALLY LOVE the eagletac d25c ti. i carry it everyday on and off work because its just so nice with that nichia 219.

I carry an es4, use the wirestrippers more than the tiny pliers.

Scored a red P4 brand new on eBay. Which is nice because when I received my PS4 I was not thrilled. Not nearly the snap crackle pop of a Victorinox, file rubs against liner, the two smaller tools are so far below the scales you can’t use your thumb nail to pick them out. Just seems more like a toy and less like a tool to me. Sure, it’s small and I didn’t expect it to be mighty, but ...meh...I’m hoping the P4 is more impressive, aside from the two tools which I thoroughly agree with Mr Shabazz about.

I carry and love my Wave, but I also own a Leatherman Squirt PS4 that I really like too. There are some cases where it wouldn’t be socially acceptable to carry a big tool on my belt (going on dates, for example), and so the PS4 can sit discreetly in a pocket.

PS4 scissors are way more useful than any awl ever for me. I've never used an awl and can't think of any use for it in my everday life.
