How could it be a flaw when it is stated everywhere that the camera crop in 4k60 lol. Its like buying a toyota with a 2000cc engine and expecting a ford mustang with 2000cc engine. Also most movies are shot on Arri which are mostly s35 crop, just get a wider lens.

The Sigma 16-28 is the solution. Full frame lens. 24mm field of view in APSC mode

This crop in 60p 4K is in all camera based on Sony FF sensors as Nikon Z5, Z6 , Z6Ii, Panasonic LUMIX S5, S5II, S5IIx, Sony A7 III and Sony A7 IV. Only Canon, which makes their own sensor does not have a crop in 60p 4K such as in R8,R6 Mark II.

I picked up the Panasonic 24-105 f4 for my S5 about four months ago and it hasn't left my camera since. I actually like the bit of extra reach that the crop gives me but I shoot mostly talking head and events (for events it's great to get the extra closeup on folks without being close:). But you're right, if you need to go wide in 4K60 it's an issue (and it's a zoom and heavy for gimbal use)...my solution now for wide and outside (outside because of good lighting) is to use one of my M4/3 cameras for the no crop 4K60 video shots. I use a G9 for this, which I adore (except in low light because my S5 destroys it). I thought I would lose the M4/3 and pick up an S5II for my B cam but I think I might stay half in the M4/3s game a wee bit longer. There are rumors of a G9II with the PDAF system, that gives me a great camera with probably 4K60 no crop, cheap lenses, and easy for travel and on a small DJI R3 mini gimbal...if the G9II has the beefy video specs that the G9 does, sign me up:)

I use a G80 MFT so this is not an issue for me but it is good to know were I to move up to the S5

It would be fair to say that, to my kwoledge, all modern full frame cameras (except sony a7siii) have the apsc crop at 60p, not just s5 or lumix's. Seems to be a sensor limitation and 7siii's could dodge at the expense of lower resolution

Well it literally says a 1.5x cropp and its common for that on a ff camera like on sony and nikon
