The disappointment on his face when Lianfang walks in the room instead of Shiyi is blatantly obvious. Lianfang is just clueless at this point. Every single thing she says/does gets under his skin. She really believes that Lingyi is impressed with her opinion regarding the refugees. It's just one more reason she shows that she isn't right for him. He can't get away from her fast enough but she just won't let him go. I feel so bad for him at this point. The GM need to give it a rest. Her son isn't interested in her at her/she keeps trying to force a relationship between them. Every thing she does at this point pushes him further/further away. She really thinks because she favors Lianfang that Lingyi is going to fall in line. It's obvious that she doesn't care whether or not her son his happy. Trying to force him to stay/have lunch with them is a bad idea. He can't stand Lianfang/he wants nothing to do with her. The GM telling her to show more initiative is a really bad idea. Her idea of showing initiative is to setup Shiyi so that she can get rid of her. I really hope she doesn't bother coming up with another plan because her plans haven't worked out so far/it's exhausting watching her try...lol The glaring difference between Lianfang's unannounced visit/Shiyi's...lol When Zhaoying told him that Shiyi was inside you could see how happy he was...lol He even told Zhaoying to prepare some tea. I don't think anyone has ever gotten that type of reception from him...lol When he tells her to let someone else worry about those trivial things...he put his foot in his mouth. She was about to get away...lol He changed his mind quick when she started walking towards the door. Her reaction was priceless. My man was like you can just measure me yourself. He wanted to keep her around...having her measure him was a brilliant idea because now she has to physically touch him....I mean that's one way to get some loving...lol They're so cute together. If Lianfang would've saw this display right here...she would've lost what's left of her little mind.

God, Lianfang, did you really think that he came out to meet you? He was hoping to see Shiyi. The expression on his face instantly changed and the sharp question clearly said that you were not welcome. Stupid selfish girl. It would be better if you were silent than expressing your "great" thoughts about solving problems with refugees and his career. He "poor" so tried to escape from her, and she is just a leech - stuck, not tear off. His mother is also a "storehouse" of mindfulness and wisdom. Did they even look at his expression when she painted Lianfang's virtues? He poor could not wait for the moment when it would be possible to escape under the traditional pretext. He almost twitched at the sticky touching eyes of this mother's favorite. Zhaoying is just as happy to see Shiyi at his lordship's residence as Lingyi. Lingyi immediately changed his mind about working when he found out that his wife had come. Shiyi reminded me of my cat, who was busily inspecting her owner's belongings when she forgot to close the built-in wardrobe door. Lingyi clearly did not think when he said that others should do the sewing. She promptly decided to run away. Shiyi's petty "revenge" was so funny when she tugged at his hands. It can be said that he absolutely did not mind her behavior. Out of frustration, Shiyi forgot to be afraid/shy. She is so cute. From his thin smile, you can tell that he likes her antics.

@@Irynash11 well we all know that Lianfang isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer...lol Once she decided to open her mouth to give her opinion about the refugees it was a wrap. She put her foot so far up her mouth...there was no room for rational/intelligent thoughts. She thought that she would be able to gain the upper hand through intelligent conversation but her selfishness won out. Her solution was to sacrifice the lives of the refugees to protect his career. She was too stupid to notice his response. Her lack of empathy drove him to the nearest exit. Unfortunately he couldn't get rid of her clingy a$$. His mother didn't make it any better. These two women seriously need to learn how to read the room....lol While she's going on/on about Lianfang's virtues...he just witness for himself...her so called virtue. They were so caught up in singing her praise that they didn't even notice his reaction. There is nothing worst than having your mother pimping a girl for you. He couldn't get away fast enough. When the GM tried to get him to stay...my man was all about the work. It was the perfect excuse because she couldn't even argue with him. The sad part is her encouraging that lunatic to try harder. Clearly she doesn't know her son because no matter how hard she tries...it's just not happening...lol Lingyi has enjoyed Shiyi's antics since the whole bathing incident. He's amused by her behavior because no one dares to challenge him in that manner before. She's a class act. The way she chooses to handle things is hilarious. She doesn't get mad or upset...she gets petty. He enjoyed her touching him. He enjoyed their conversation. He was enjoying being close to her. Whenever she starts to feel something for him...her voice changes. She starts talking softly towards him. She hasn't realized it yet but...she's fallen for him too.
