My eyes lit up when you mentioned Jean runs P&S. I bought my first rifle from him, an SMLE, many years ago. I still refer friends looking for historical rifles to his website! It was really great to see this complete account of the battle, your video in 2021 was the first I'd heard of it!

What is the difference between the Snider ammo and the Veedham ammo. As in bullet diameter and weight and powder charge.

While ostensibly "58" cal, it is still unclear what type of cartridge the Needham was intended for. Indeed they may have been made differently batch to batch..... .Part Four talks of some of the troubles (out soon)

As I cannot find a Baker Rifle 1800, I sent an email to Pedersoli, to ask them if the Baker Rifle 1800 was in their manufacturing project. The response was this : Dear Sir *********, Thank you for your advice. We'll be going out with a Baker rifle, flintlock, rifled, next year. I will attach the photo of the original we purchased for study. I don't have any other details at the moment, but when we are almost ready, we will send the news letter. Sincerely, Customer service HIP HIP HIP ?!
