Epic Yarn was literally the first Kirby Game I ever played. Probably not the best introduction, but I did indeed become interested in the franchise

I'd say Kirby is never been my fav franchise. But I love extra epic yarn to death because of the lack of copy ability and its aesthetic . I think Nintendo should give a sequel that's similar to Yoshi Woolly world to Yoshi Crafted world scenario. I love your new contents about underrated games. Keep it up man.

Epic Yarn was my first ever video game, and it was honestly a great introduction to games! (The kirby franchise in particular). I still hold a lot of love and nostalgia for it!

Kirby’s Epic Yarn I would agree is a weird game for the Kirby franchise. But what I do like about it is how everything is yarn. And it’s cool how you can get buttons instead of coins but also if you want to go through the level quicker make yourself a car with cool car effects. I also love the music and the interesting art style and how you can earn furniture to decorate your house as you progress through the game. Though the bosses are a bit cliché. I love the Magician And the Last boss.

Kirby Mass attack on the DS was my favorite Kirby game because I grew up with it as a kid and if you haven't played it its definitely worth playing through

I really love this game !! i played it some months ago and I really enjoyed the unique, for its time, concept

I just beat this game tonight with my 6 year old daughter. It's a great entry platformer for kids because you can't die, but since Kirby can't fly and there's plenty to do outside of finishing the level, you can't just cheese your way through like a Mario game with an invincibility code. You actually have to do the platforming and find the way to go, solving puzzle elements. It's a great game even if you don't have kids, but if you do, it's a really good place to start. The visuals and music are A+.

I was hoping this video would be about Kirby's Block Ball on the gameboy, but Epic Yarn is nice.

I got gold medals on all stages and it was painful, especially on bubbly clouds and halberd. The worst part is that it doesn’t even do anything, it doesn’t even go to 100% completion, I haven’t even gotten 100% completion yet.

This was one of my favorite games as a child and then my cousin decided to borrow it and never give it back :( I was in even able to complete it. Ps. You forgot to talk about the collectibles, the little stickers that you collect in order to decorate your house.

You know, I have a real soft spot for this game. For some reason, whenever my friend came over, THIS would be the game we played. And let me tell you, we had lots of fun with it. It's a shame the 3DS port came out as late as it did. And that it cut out the multiplayer. I'm sure that it could've been a hit.

Not gonna lie, I feel like when this game came out a lot of people wrote it off as "oh you can't die? Then it's a game for babies!" But they're missing the point. The fact that you lose a lot of beads when you get hit means that if you want to get all the gold medals, all the secrets, and so on, you'll want to avoid damage. Definitely not traditional game design for a platformer but it works for what Epic Yarn was trying to be, and with Kirby's "easy to beat, hard to beat 100%" design philosophy. Unfortunately I never _was_ able to 100% this game due to a scratch on the disk...

I wish you had talked about the quests your neighbors give you. A lot of people say this game is really easy, but those people have yet to play the quests. seriously, some of them are hell. Yeah, the base game is easy, but if you want difficulty its there, people just don't bother to look for it. there are quests where you collect 600 coins in 20 seconds, which is in Cozy Cabin. there's one where you have to kill a ton of enemies in a time limit, in Cloud Palace. these took me HOURS to complete, and I hate it when people say this game is easy because clearly they haven't played the quests.... also, for the people who say the base game is easy, I have 2 words for you: Toy. Tracks. deadass the hardest level in this game. as a kid it took me over a month to complete...

I almost always wanted to play epic yarn but I never was able to, I thought it was for babies when I first saw it and then I watched antdude review it and then it was out of stock at E.B games after that, E.B games is Australia’s GameStop.

For some reason, for as much care and effort Good Feel (the ones behind Kirby's Epic Yarn, Yoshi's Woolly World, and Wario Land Shake It) puts into their games, they're rarely even talked about and their games always end up as hidden gems. Which is a huge shame imo.

I do still think Good Feel does this style of game best. Woolly World and Crafted World are the sequels to Yoshi’s Island and Story respectively that I always wanted

Kirby's epic yarn isn't underated, a lot of people praise it. Just because it's your 2nd or 3rd favorite kirb game doen't mean that it's underated. An underated game has to be one that people hate or don't give a lot of attention to. Like, my favorite game is minecraft, that doen't mean it's underated.

I think the main reason why people doesn't like this game is that it doesn't really act like your normal kirby game, it also got rid of all the stuff that made kirby, kirby. I don't really have any real thoughts on this game.

I feel like it’s unfair to blame people for not being totally on board with Epic Yarn when it came out. Return to Dreamland wasn’t out yet and this game was the first Kirby game in a while. Nintendo is just abysmal at timing their spin-offs sometimes. At least be like “Hey, we have a traditional one on the way.” If you’re gonna release a spin-off during a drought in the main series. Easiest moves in the world to make, Nintendo execs just aren’t smart. Same with Federation Force, just tell people that a remake of Metroid 2 is in development, but nope. Just here’s a spin-off with no further news
