at 9:00 you show a John Guest 12 mm fitting, what size/diameter thread does it need to screw into the barb fitting?

Do you recommend installing John Guest check valves before or after the system? How would you deal with pressure build up between the tank e.g. the shower?

@@ih2530 just on the inlet. There is a bit of pressure build up but that’s why there is an expansion tank, it massively reduces the increase in pressure to protect the pipes.

Is it possible to upgrade the old system - which I purchased a while ago? If so, how/what's needed? The homepage doesn't seem to be updated yet?

@@chblabah we’re working our way through it! Yes you can upgrade, it’s just the new exchanger, hoses, clips and the plumbing unit and expansion tank. Just send us an email and we’ll figure something out.

Are there any components used in this video that are not included? If so, which ones are they? So I can buy them myself.

@@ih2530 only the inlet and outlet John guest fittings and the valve, everything else is included!
