Did Lisa just casually mention ME?😱 I suffer from this and it's so difficult to get some recognition. Just when I thought I couldn't love her any more than I do😭❤

I also suffer from ME and was shocked to hear her mention it. Although im not totally sure how to feel as I think that it came across that the Queens illness was more to do with her mental health than a physical thing. With all the misconceptions around ME I just think it's super important to stress it's physical (of course with a mental component because that comes with any illness). I thought she was dealing with a breakdown or burnout from not dealing with her grief and of course, the years of stress from being queen.

This genuine belief in the value of diversity is stunning, what a role model. It goes through literally all her cells, not only in representation in the story, in the cast and the crew, but especially in the production process, where she uses the diversity in the people of that massive team for adding value in each and every possible way. Wow.

Yay! Wow! Such a great interview!! I love hearing Lisa talk! I still want to hear so much more about it all, but this answered some of my questions about the thinking behind so much. I love her point of view, it's so refreshing... And, I'm so so glad they fought for the fullness of the intimacy scene, I think it was played exactly right, it was beautiful and romantically involved, and not an outsider spectator/shock factor novelty, just two kids desperately in love with very little chance for privacy and time together making a special moment, and its so sweet to see that and reflect on those first love moments ourselves... as a queer person it's so deeply important to see it shown as just as valid and romantic as any straight persons love. It shouldn't be so shockingly rare, but it still is, and their nuanced love story is a gift to the world, as dramatic as it is, it explores so many relatable emotions, and I'm still so so so grateful for all this show had told ❤

Oh man, I wish I could also have a conversation with Lisa to explain to her that the Marcus thing and the Felice and Wilhelm thing didn't work for some fans because of the way it was executed, not just because they were getting "in the way" of Simon and Wilhelm's relationship. Some stuff just felt out of character, especially for Simon, and the thing between Wilhelm and Felice broke this trust the audience had with the dynamic of their friendship (that was built on season 1). There's so much I could say that made season 2 feel like a different show, but never mind. It's not like she's gonna read this anyway. Interesting interview!

Hi! As Lisa said, viewers don't have to agree with her creative decisions. We think discussion and a difference of opinion keep people engaged! However, we are grateful that she took the time to provide her own, personal, clarity on some of the storylines and characters that haven't been answered prior.

In Young Royal you meet so many interesting complex characters, it's a shame that in the last episode they all seem to have lost their personalities and gone to Hollywood. the ending is so cliche and unrealistic, too bad, an important well written story turns into a lame fairy tale.
