Throughout the 16 months to follow, Hunter Moore would be branded as "The Internet's Most Hated Man" as scandalous pictures of scene girls and band dudes such as members of Oceano and A Day to Remember, were posted on a daily basis and the website made Internet history. Although many people tried, nobody succeeded in taking down the website until Hunter sold it.
However, the law would finally catch up to him after an FBI investigation regarding the provenance of some of the pictures he published.

He’s a piece of shit it’s ok. I’m from Sacramento where he lived and knew a lot of people in the music scene that knew him too my brother in law was trying to hunt him down and beat him up years before is anyone up was a thing and he was popular. I think everyone except for the hunter super fans were happy that he got arrested and fucked over for what he did.

I knew a girl who's nudes were posted on IsAnyoneUp? and I think that it bothered her more than what she let on. Years went by and she developed a drug problem and eventually passed away. I dont attribute the website fully to what happened but I think that it set something off on the back of her mind, but it's just an assumption I have and I could be wrong.

I was born in 1994. When cell phones with cameras first became popular (I was in 6th grade or so, so around 06/07) I learned REALLY quick from a girl I was talking to that you shouldn’t send pics of yourself bc once you do you have no power over what gets done w them. Shame most people were denied this lesson. It honestly made me a better person

Ah yes, a classic! I haven’t thought about IAU in ages! I found out about it through the same means as well. Say...were you in TWWK in their early days? I use to be in a band called Fatality and we played with them a few times. When I moved to the Binghamton area, I was in various bands then too and then toured with My Bitter End, Through The Eyes Of The Dead, Endwell and a couple others too. I’m sure we ran into each other a few times...damn it’s a small world. P.S. The ol’ Bridge 9 boards...oh god. Lambgoat is still better ;)
