i don't know if disney channel shows technically count as sitcoms but i always remember being blown away by the outfits some of those kids wore. they were also so colorful with so many layers! even tho looking back they were a little strange sometimes

gilmore girls isn’t technically a sitcom, but it’s absolutely inspired by them and designed like one visually. i love watching the early 2000s trends age. personally i think lorelai’s tall boots and pencil skirts from season one should make a comeback

Community had some of the most boring costume design, but still made a lasting impact on me as I love wearing socks that match my shirt after Jeff gets dragged for doing that.

I'm gonna like and comment because I adore your channel, but the focus on the Wandavision series is kind of stumbling block for me. Scarlet Witch is my favorite comics character, so watching the MCU disrespect her over and over again is a little tiring. But I do want to thank you for the Daily Dot article you wrote about it! And fwiw, in my unscientific opinion, The B**** in Apartment 23 had some great costumes that I still remember even though I haven't seen it in like 3 years.

Honestly I loathe sitcoms, because I mostly just find them embarrassing. But, fashion-wise, I do follow Gracie and Frankie on Worn On TV to see what Jane Fonda is wearing, because she always looks very chic. I do wonder if the lighting choices to make you primed to laugh prevent you from empathizing with the characters. That may be part of what makes me so uncomfortable about them. Or maybe they just act really stupid. Who could say!
