This is one of your best videos ever. My whole demeanor is different because of my lack of safety and it’s so sad and detrimental. She knows my defensiveness and my lack of ability to discuss our relationship issues as we remain separated with a divorce looming that I can’t even bring up! She loves me and needs her space as does my daughter, but I have zero ideas on where I stand

Seen this video 5x and only due to an internal shift i understand what he is saying. Love is more then... its not possession or ego. It actually destroys both. If you understand that you will enter for yourself and entire new person but also become what your partner needs... A partner. Love is shown by your accountability beging humble and truly want to understand your spouse. Its like playing double double tennis. You dont condemn your partner when they had successes with you for years youll catch all the balls and try to win that match and try to see whats wrong with your partner when they fall out. Knee injury or mentally theyre not there anymore. Youll ask how come how can i help? Instead of blaming. Youll face the problems together and sometimes it means you face the problems or opportunities alone for her or him until theyre ready to see the actual issue is you both vs that problem and not you vs him her

Fantastic. When there is emotional safety, problems cease to become threats, but become opportunities. I remember I used to be afraid of arguments and conflict, but I get that it was because of a lack of emotional safety.

Amazing! Needy partners are not bad they need more safety and they need to grow in self esteem but they are gifted and great people just like the self-sufficient ones.

Embrace your change, don't tether with the outcome and expect nothing, just bettering yourself for the sake of bettering yourself, learn to wear a bulletproof vest if you happen to be with her again, learn to adapt and accept words without arguing. Got it.

Hey man, just came across your videos after pushing my wife away after 13 years, now we’re in a very confusing situation, but your videos have been really putting things into perspective where others seem more based on short term relationships. I just wish I could get a little more situation specific advice, I feel like we have a pretty unique situation going on here.

Does telling your wife that you're doing this program hurt the chances? Should you just do it and let the results speak for themselves OR let her know you're in the program so she's on the lookout for changes?
@GeoffreySetiawan2 жыл бұрын
Does not matter - if you grow so massively, you transcend having to worry about all of these petty things. Truth is, your partner will find a way to resist you and think your changes are ingenuine. If not the program, it will be for something else. You're going to need to learn the skill to be able to truly dance under resistance. Any & all kinds (and the reason why you are where you are i most likely because you don't know how to do this really well). If you're still worried about these short-term & petty things, it means you have not grown massively enough, and have not become irreplaceable. Watch any & all of my client stories, and they all will say the same. This is a non-issue... In fact, if this is the issue you're facing, THAT is the issue in itself that you need to learn to bust through. We call this busting through the paradox of change.

Hi, my ex partner has requested space after hurting her several times, she says she still loves me and is still in love with me but i’ve hurt her too many times for her to trust me again, she said she has lost the emotional trust and doesn’t feel like she’ll ever get that back again. Initially messed up by begging her and chasing but after your content i have respected her decision and gave her the space she needs, she never felt heard and understood so i’m working on that from your content. Do i just wait for her to contact me or do i check in with her in at some point? Thanks

there is a lot of "overlap" in your many youtube videos. Surely a lot of the info could be condensed into a few underlying memorable principles guidelines which would be more helpful. Many of the scenarios you describe are to produce a perfect man (who does not exist) with a high maintenance demanding wife or partner. In ALL relationships you love your partner even with some faults (otherwise they would not be human beings!!!).
