The general rule for grousers is that if a tank has 1.4 ground resistance or higher, then grousers will give you more speed on medium and soft ground. If the resistance is 1.4 or lower, then turbo gives you more speed. Of course grousers don't affect reverse speed and power to weight ratio, but grousers also give you that traverse bonus. They really are underrated and I run them on a few tanks these days.

one of my favorite tank, aside of being slow and not so many shell capacity, the penetration is superb for it's tier and the gun depression makes it comfortable to support from behind :3

The back of my head: but it's Aussie... I kind of wish the 3 tanks in Australian service (AC I, AC IV and Cent RAAC had Aussie crew accents lol)

Had a battle with it yesterday. 40 shots, 17 hit 11 pens on T6 tanks. Most shots where on 400m distance. against lights or half hidden TDs.

If you need a medium tank with a gun firing gold rounds with tier 9 standard pen at tier 6 this is the one for you I guess. But aside from that I can only agree on the grousers. They are underrated but not many vehicles are faster with grousers compared to a turbo.

I will have to consider buying some at the next equipment sale. I always buy turbos and don't have a single grouser, never used one.

Like I said before turbo charger only a viable option for T28 line, AT line, so basically the slow tanks, since there you make a good % speed gain.

Grousers would be better than a turbo other than the extra reverse speed but it has good reverse speed to begin with so it's not really needed. You'd be able to hit higher speeds on all terrain types with grousers compared to a turbo.

I like this tank but I carry binocs and vents on it and turbo. Will try it with grousers so thanks for that spot.

Please do video on Skada T40 Mr.Skill. in last battle - Minsk - You said one is supposed to have support in western part of the map. It would be nice if it would be like that. As i mostly play mediums the eastern city is no place for me, but support in the west? If you have 3 more guns with you you can be happy, mostly you only have one or sometimes 2 friends.

Funny fact…this penis tank was the 1st one I got 3 MOE on!!! 59% win rate with over 200 games. Yes it is slow but perhaps that keeps you out of trouble. Plus I feel like I get good MM in it. I will have to try grousers but find vents, rammer, and optics works. Thanks skill for this video on a blediful tank.

Yup, that's that one case when turbochanger is worse option than using additional grousers. Below you have effective speed(hard/med/soft terrain) using one slot of modules and one slot of equipment to improve just mobility, with every moblity perk, with standard rammer on second slot and optics on 3rd slot, without directives: Vents+Rammer+Optics+Tea = 50.5/43.5/26.5 Vents+Rammer+Optics+105-Octane Gasoline = 53.3/45.8/27.6 We see gasoline gives much better mobility. So now we replace ventillation for another piece: Turbo+Rammer+Optics+105-Octane Gasoline = 57.2/49.0/29.4 (unreachable top speed 65.4 on flat ground) *Grousers+Rammer+Optics+105-Octane Gasoline = 59.8/51.3/30.7* Grousers+Rammer+Optics+Tea = 56.7/48.8/29.5 I would reccomend to at least sets with grousers, even that without tea despite 4,22s reload time and 427m of view range. I'm writing about competetive sets so I won't use both tea and gasoline to avoid frustration in the battle when you lose crew member/modules.

nice compilation on the topics. the premium consumables is a coin with 2 sides as you mention. it is a point of ressources as it drains credits after each battle other then unused repairs, med-kits or fire extinguishers. even when one uses the sales for consumables the credit effort for used from stock is less but still can be a steady loose of credits in battle results for the "not so good" players.

@@edelmann4388 For me, weird thing is, almost every community contributor during preview ignores effective speed on different terrains, everyone is saying only about max speed when the most important and useful value is the one for medium terrain. Grousers are better for tanks which are far away from reaching max speed. Good example is AC-4 or...l IS-7. I know, for the memes and ramming on the hill you want to have better top speed. But more competetive option which will be better at 95% of your time are grousers. Turbocharger is good option when you have ability to reach your maximum speed on med terrain. I'm weird typo, I'm using Turbo on Progetto 46 because I want to take important positions in the first minute.

I think you always can trade your HP for a bit more damage/assisting damage in the end. IMO, retaining HP in a winning game is just not worth it. Saving a bit credit for less XP gain? I don't think so.

There is potential should the engine ever get buffed as the transmission allows it to get moving pretty well when moving down hill.
