4 жыл бұрынI'm a sucker for Charlie Rose, so this 10th anniversary interview was right up my alley. Honestly though, much of the material is more than covered by Darabont's commentary track and the two rather long featurettes that are included on the disc. It's good, however, to see the three men fielding questions together around a single table, and the conversation is certainly filled with laughs.

Why don't we hear more about movie's score, right off the bat, for a lot of the reason that makes this movie so amazing? It was nothing short of amazing how well Thomas Newman drove forward the story telling with somber music that fit so well with what was going on and invoking the appropriate feelings meant to be felt.

The analysis of the themes sounds so much better coming from Red and Andy than me. Wish they could come to my class. Wow.

Ironic that Tom Hanks and Gary Sinise both ended up in Frank Darabont's next movie.....despite Shawshank losing most of its nominations to Forrest Gump.
