Garrosh was an honorable, knowledgeable, and level headed lore character that I'd love to have as a Warchief. But seriously look how lazy Blizzard became with his story. Up until that point he was exactly as I described. But Blizzard randomly decides to have him wake up an asshole one day and turn into Mr. Stereotypical Mustache Twirling Villain, for the sake of a final boss in MoP. I can't believe Blizzard threw away the Hellscream bloodline for this.

Krom'Gar bombed an innocent city. Garrosh bombed a military fortress after a week-long siege. He purposfully waited for about a week before moving on Theramore. It's almost as if he literally waited for the Alliance to evacuate it's citizens and bring in it's armies. That is an act of war, not a war crime. You must surely understand the guy at this point. He was getting the short end of the stick in Ashenvale because the Night Elves refused to trade with him after the shitshow of Putress at the Wrathgate. His people were dying in the streets of Orgrimmar and the Alliance had massacred Camp Taurajo.

Garrosh was by far the best Warchief the Horde has ever seen , in WoW. I think the way they turned him into a villain was not only lame, but it made no sense. We are the Horde! Blizzard has turned us into Alliance 2.0.

+Mexuverse San You know the first time you encounter Grom in Warcraft 3 he is captured by the Alliance because of his aggression? Then Thrall saved him, but not while later he attacks human and the elves again and brought the Orcs second time to demonblood. Then he had to be saved by Thrall and even the Alliance AGAIN. Garrosh is seems to be much smarter than Grom, even while Grom became kinda old in Warcraft 3.

I think that was intended. She was acting all tough, like vice-commander. But once Kirito got close to her, they started showing her as she really was. At least thats how I feel about it.

For me the transition from Cata to MoP was a bit sudden. In one expac he's preaching about how wrong it is to bomb a town and that we must fight with honor, in the next he does exactly that.

Call me crazy but I love when the Horde and Alliance fight, which is why I loved the cinematics and stuff for MoP. Full scale invasions, attacking each other, lines of soldiers, etc. might just because I play as an Orc tho. For the Horde! (Please make us stop being hunched over blizzard).

Yes, it was their exposure to warlock magics that corrupted them. Many of the shaman in the Frostwolf clan had converted, and so they turned green. Meanwhile Garrosh had been quarantined with other victims of the Red Pox. (btw sorry about the necro-posting)

It happened on Dreanor when Gul'dan first introduced demonic magic to the other clans. Shamans became warlocks, and used those magics, slowly poisoning themselves and the land, turning the orcs green and the lands brown and barren. The only reason Nagrand was spared was that people were forbidden to go to Oshu'gun (where the spirits lived and would have shouted at them WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!) and also those suffering from the Red Pox were quarantined, so the villages there were avoided like the plague.

Correction - The Planet was Draenor which was destroyed through the first Horde's dealings with the daemons and thus became Outworld

***** No Golmash was found as a baby by the Warsong clan in one of their burnt villages, they heard the attack was on the way, they arrived too late, they took Golmash in as one of their own, Golmash was just a Warrior, but a legendary one, raising Grom like a leader, when his father died Grom later on killed the leader of the Warsong clan and took over the leadership.

EliThE AMV Not true. Those who were even around fel magic or corrupted orcs, would turn green. Garrosh was spared because he was sick or just lucky.

Orcs are naturally brown. They turn green through Fel Magic, drinking demon blood (they can even turn red if given a second dose) or just being around other infected orcs, which is the -bullshit- excuse Blizzard used to explain why Thrall's parents are green, even though they never drank the stuff. (Though this hasn't stopped them from fucking up either. In game, Thrall's parents would switch between the two time after time til they finally came up with the excuse that they did to explain all of it.)

One of the best lore videos i ever seen. So happy that you talk about Mists of Pandaria and it makes me so exciting for the next patch. And I heard that the Draenei leader is coming in patch 5.1? That's gonna be so exciting. I see that Blizzard is making a really great job with the war between the Horde and the Alliance.

Not poor writing at all. When Garrosh said that, it was in Cata. He was new to being Warchief, and he was actually really good at it. The fact that he bombed Theramore just showed how reckless, violent, and evil he was becoming. It wasn't a mistake at all, just a clever method to show his change in character.

***** Garrosh is a hippocrite either way.. Also when he complains to Thrall and says "you allied with the humans who allowed warlocks to practice their dark arts right under our feet", whereas he has dark Shaman that twisted the elements for miles around... totally not dark arts.. To have a character that is that big of a hippocrite and never even mentions it or realizes it himself is annoying for the players (since it's never acknowledged) is simply poor writing, and is in no way "clever", since the build up is non-existant and it's obvious that they didn't plan for that when they put him as warchief.

k01dsv They did have the plan. They started working on MoP before Cata was released, with the knowledge that Garrosh would be the final boss. They knew what they were going to do with him. There's a difference between his Dark Shaman twisting the elements, and what he was talking about which was DEMONIC magic. The Dark Shaman are not Warlocks. There's nothing demonic or really "evil" about what they were doing. Garrosh was corrupted by the power he wanted, just like Grom was. It makes perfect sense.

Veeeery informative! Im new to the WOW and am excited to what ive seen and got to take a part of! Ive been a fantasy book reader 4 years! The Sword Of Shannara being my fave! This stuff here, helps me to enjoy the depths of the game that much MORE!!! My fave avatar is Ka' Rell a Blood Elf Paladin! After this... Im in that much more, Garrosh... is a full rounded character and I would love to see Ka' Rell cross blades with him hehe ;)

You know, Garrosh is the epitome of the orc that I grew up reading in all my fantasy novels. Orcs were a vicious race thinking only to conquer especially the dwarves and even very hateful of goblins but allowed them around when they needed the grunts. With the lore of Pandaria, and the ability of Pandaren able to chose sides, the occasional help with the Alliance and Horde together as a team, I begin to wonder if the Horde vs Alliance days against each other are coming to an end.

Going to cover the end cinematic coming Saturday in the Q&A. I don't believe she's evil, I believe she's a realistic character now. The lady got her city nuked by the Horde & after that betrayed from within her new city ofcourse she wants them dead ^_^

I definitely noticed the strange similarity between the mop trailer and the bc trailer. I also thought it wasn't a coincidence but had no idea where to take that.
