I would love to see a movie based on the Old Republic era where the main protagonist is a Sith and the main antagonist is a Sith Lord. Build the antagonist like Joker or something like that, make him likeable, relatable. It doesn't matter if he's evil. Joker is evil from a certain point of view, but we still like him. That movie wouldn't need any Jedi at least in a big role. It would center around the Sith and the relationships and rivalry between them. It would be a very dark movie and I would like that. I know it probably never happens during my lifetime but I can always close my eyes and dream about it.

Valkorian is another contender for most powerful. I’d like to think Palpatine was the most powerful however Valkorian achieved galactic domination and eternal life (even though he was defeated).

@@LordWyatt + Admittedly, I do agree that Valkorian is absolutely a contender. The main difference between him and Sidious was that he took a VERY long time to achieve his goals and he often relied on help and massive rituals in order to do so. Comparatively, Palpatine (and Ragnos even moreso) achieved what they did within their own lifetimes and without much at all in the way of help.

@@justinanderson2460 agreed. Though I’d like to add Sidious had most of the rule of two Sith do his preparation until he was ready to take the reigns. Of course Valkorian had a similar setup with the Sith Empire and his own Master was Marka Ragnos himself, and Sidious had the entire Clone War on his shoulders while he played both sides🤔 They’re products of their time, I just personally believe much knowledge was lost by the time Sidious learned it from Plagueis or rediscovered it for himself after he secured his position as Emperor. Perhaps he was powerful enough to defeat Valkorian on a 1v1 duel but this is a very interesting discussion Edit: now I’m wondering if Marka Ragnos learned of Essence Transfer or the few other ways to cheat death through the Dark Side and simply chose not to, choosing to die a natural death (like Emperor Diocletian retiring or Augustus’ last words of ‘…applaud as I exit.’)

No doubt. I've watched about 10 videos of 10 different people they said is the very first Sith Lord. I thought it was Darth Andeddu. This video says otherwise. I watched one the other day that said it was one of the original dark Jedi that left osis and found the Sith people and became their first dark lord. Somebody needs to make up their damn mind.

They were also part of the first exiled jedi who arrived at korriban and began to rule over the sith purebloods as the first Lords of the Sith. I believe there were 12 of them, im not really sure. This does not make you Less, if anything it shows you are more Cunning than Hord, who likely eschewed Diplomacy dud to his Martial Focus. In the game 'Jedi Academy', the main antagonist Tavion did only that. She used Ragnos' scepter to give warriors force powers after collecting it from various places (Dagobah etc) and created the Disciples of Ragnos

Like plagueis said wether an ancient sith Lord achieved his level of power or not it was either lost to history or taken with them to the grave. Then like bane claimed, these ancient sith were blouted and exaggerated before there true power and story ever reached parchment
