Brian Pillman was a wrestling trailblazer in the 90's. Pillman blurred the lines of fiction and reality in WCW, ECW and the WWF where he personified the character of 'The Loose Cannon.' But as we explore in this wrestling documentary, Brian Pillman's life was as tragic as it was wild.

Damn it man. Imagine if that accident never happened. That Austin vs Pillman rivalry would have beaten everything off the charts.

If Pillman would never had been injured and passed; Austin would be the Marty Jannetty of the team and Pillman would have been the HBK of the blondes.

Yea! I like Steve, No doubt, But Pillman was better wrestler and talker! Pillman was def the Michaels and Steve was Janetty, but nothing wrong with that bc Shawn and Marty are both very good too! Marty personal problems ruined Marty, Not his work! Hell, McMahon kept trying with the guy bc he knew how good he was! Watch those early RAW matches Marty was on. All were good! Brian was the better half between He and Steve, No question!

@@markmonroe652I don't believe that. Pillman had a reckless character rubbing a lot of people the wrong way and he was significantly smaller than Steve. If anything his injury might have caused him to calm down a little bit and prevent him from putting himself into scandals that would finish off his career faster than his abrupt death. Also consider that Steve had a life altering injury (Owen match) and he still kept his spot.

I've noticed this guy seems to always put out these right after Wrestling Bios. Not complaining! It's become my normal routine to watch WB's video and then watch these as a chaser. Great strategy if indeed it's intentional.

Timing and luck are a big part of life. One can only imagine if a young 1990 Pillman had been able to compete and be utilised in WCWs cruiser weight division during the height of the Monday night wars….

Imagine a Flying Brian athletic abilities with the loose cannon attitude in the attitude era. Guy would have been a huge star. He could have easily played foil to Austin, or anti authority to McMahon.

In his last few appearances, he was so obviously juicing, yet mostly immobile due to injury, and also way too invested in his gimmick, someone needed to call a halt before it was too late. Unfortunately that didn't happen, and we can only wonder what could have been if he was an antagonist for stone cold as Y2K approached....
