Google the real life murder of Junko Furuta a Japanese school girl who was tortured for 44 days and then murdered by 4 boys. It is horrifying what they did to her and sad how she suffered but what Is shocking is the sentences they got and the fact that they are now out and free. Well the lady did kill her but I know she didn’t mean to. I think he was a disgusting man however she was a grown woman and I’m sure he pressured her into it she still went there willing and knew all the stuff they were giving her was to get rid of the baby. She however didn’t agree to be smothered to death but he wasn’t there for that. So I don’t think either deserved to die for what they did. It’s a shame she lost her life and if she felt she had no choice but to end her pregnancy that she had a safe and legal way to do it.
@58christinekay4 жыл бұрын
The reason for the killing of Mabel was rather similar to the American case of Chester Gillette in the early twentieth century. His girlfriend became pregnant by him, and assumed he was going to marry her. However, Gillette was keen on a high society girl and felt marriage to his girlfriend would drag him down. He therefore drowned her in a lake nearby. The film A Place in the Sun with Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift was a fictionalized account of the case.
@franziskakre83094 жыл бұрын
"A Place in the Sun" was the adaption of the novel "An American Tragedy" by Theodore Dreiser. In the Movie the characters of Taylor and Clift were to likable and Shelley Winters played the victim as a not very likable scrubber. (I hope its the right word)

krosny well the victim is dead. Any testimony given could be lies. I agreed to the first sentence. Death.
@Chuck_Hooks4 жыл бұрын
@Erfan Uddin Most Involuntary Manslaughter cases today involve DUIs. Mothers and children (unborn, too) are wiped out in a second in head on car crashes. Decapitations occur. Horrific mangling of the victims. DUIs fit the Involuntary Manslaughter profile because the deaths were not premeditated and the deaths occurred while committing an illegal act (driving drunk). That is the case with this video in broad terms. Are the drunks not rats, too, who never should be allowed out of prison to get drunk, drive and kill another family? In some states the maximum penalty for DUI killings is 10-15 years but almost never the death penalty.
@Chuck_Hooks4 жыл бұрын
@@lukeskywalker1868 You seem in favor of giving government authority to assign the death penalty just because you think the witnesses might or would give false testimony. Fortunately in America it doesn't work that way. There are enormous legal hurdles prosecutors often have to overcome to prove a case. And this setup is by design because governments have nearly unlimited financial resources and the accused often have few if any resources. By design the guilty sometimes go free even if "everybody knows" they did it. Maybe America is not for you.

People forget the fact that women are totally in control of sex, they have all the power, no man can have s-ex with a woman unless she gives her consent or its r-ape, therefore, the onus of responsibility is on the individual with the power, if a woman does not want to get pregnant, she have the power and right to either not have sex, or use some kind of contraceptives, sex comes with responsibilities, people want to have all the pleasures and regards privileges that comes with s-ex, but none of it's responsibilities

Remember women were left in the dark about sex and all that was taboo. He knew everything and likely let her know only what he wanted her to know. Remember this is his contact they were going to see (she didn’t know the lady or what she did prior to him taking her there). I think she was misguided, overly trusting, and he took advantage of her. Poor woman! So very tragic! Makes me think of my great grandmother. Although, she wasn't accidentally smothered to death. Not sure how that's possible but maybe in all the craziness and trying to keep her quiet she wasn't paying attention 🤷 My great grandmother was raped at age 15. Unfortunately, she got pregnant. She hadn't told anyone about the rape. She lived in rural Kansas and had to make an excuse to go to the city. She ended up confiding in one of her friends. They went to Topeka Kansas where they met a man who had a tiny "medical" office in his basement. She had the procedure. Afterwards, she had so much pain and bleeding she thought she was going to die. Come to find out, 5 or 6 years on, that the doctor had given her a complete hysterectomy. She was married at that time and was trying to have kids. Her and her husband went to the doctor and found out she was unable to have children. She told her husband what happened. He was extremely supportive and they happily adopted children. If only this case had a happier ending. 💔 Thank you Mr. BC for always delivering fascinating cases with spot on narration. Thank you for bringing entertainment during these strange times. Hey BC! I hope you're doing ok and staying safe.. I wouldn't want to identify one of my kids dead period let alone in the way the mother had too.. Heartbreaking because you cannot get that image out ever!! 😔 It seems weird to me that it's always the woman's fault for getting "herself" pregnant like it doesn't take 2.. Pitiful
@kaarlimakela34134 жыл бұрын
I had never heard of the British expression 'she fell pregnant' until I listened to some of these authentic programs, it's just not familiar to my ears ... one heck of a 'fall' ... :D :D :D how does that work? "Whoops! Oh now I've done it ... " The jokes write themselves! The kind of thing that, when you hear it, your mind ends up straying all over the place.

ღSwnsasyღ _ Exactly! A hen lays plenty of eggs that will never hatch into a chick unless a rooster is nearby. So why is a woman to blame for pregnancy? Because male dominated society loves to blame women!

Thank you for sharing. Your narrations via true crimes are well done. Certainly. Your vids are organized & articulated in such a way, it peaks interest. Moreover, your distinguished voice is very inviting. Splendid word despite the foundation of the dark, non-fiction material you are covering. I hope you & all viewers are well.

Thank you BC for this case which is interesting on so many levels. I haven't heard of it before, and enjoy all of your cases from Australia. I live close to where this one occurred. The description of their resuscitation attempts...😳. Thank God we have some research now. I can't help thinking about modern defibrillators and tasers. Who knows what voltage they gave poor Mabel with their device that made her heart stop? The appalling situation of vulnerable, desperate, pregnant women going incognito and in shame to these backyard abortion clinics, which were exploitative and dangerous; it's so very sad. Other poor desperate women were known to have their babies alone and in secret, and leave them to die in the Yarra River, or if they had died naturally, then 'bury' them in the River without anyone seeing. This behaviour was punished severely, post-partum depression not being recognised or supported then. What a tragedy that Mabel trusted herself to two people who weren't to be trusted, especially the father of her baby.
