Hi Eleanor! 🥺💕 I have commented this on your last video as well but I don't know if you've seen it so here I am once again! I was wondering if you will ever be covering the "Zodiac Killer case" apparently the identity of the killer has been released to the public and he has been caught. I really do not want to look into it myself because I don't want any spoilers 🥺 Plus your videos are stunning and amazing and always full of details! If you could please take a look at the case please do! I really love your videos and work💕💞 Thank you very much if you're reading this and if you'll be taking a look at the case! I love you :3 💞💕 Stay safe and take care of yourself! Bye bye! 🥺💞💞💞💞💞

I will never forget what Matthew's father said to his killers at the sentencing: "may you live a long life, and thank Matthew every day for it". Matthew was a huge part of our culture, and history. He may be gone, but his spirit lives on. My drag mama even remembers him fondly and some time she got to spend with him. Watch the documentary on the Bondi Beach gay murders in Sydney, Australia in the '80s. There were something like 80 murders over a 10-15 years, mainly during the AIDS epidemic and killing gays was then a 'blood-sport' for some and quietly tolerated by many. The police were many years later condemned for their passive complicity. I grew up with that in the background. I remember colleagues at work at the time saying, 'They brought it on themselves.'

I have never been but I do know that whole general area in the states is kinda all like this. It's very similar to the south in its racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. ideologies and for liberals from that area I think that's why this case resonates with them so much, because they see the people with these hateful mindsets on the daily, and Matthew's murder is the perpetuation of that hate uncurbed by an active fight for change and equal rights.

Am watching this with my youngest LGBTQ+ teen & she begged me to give a tip that could save someone else. I've been a nurse for 30 years. If you ever encounter someone whose jaw is clenched shut this severely & you HAVE to attempt opening it for CPR place 2 fingers where their earlobes attach at the jaw & press. You can make firm circular motions to massage this area & just below the temples. This usually loosens the temporomandibular joint allowing you to open their jaw & perform CPR.

Unfortunately, this seems to be the way the US works. Until a certain amount of deathly car accidents, they don't install traffic lights at certain intersections or crosswalks, etc. It seems like it always takes loss off someone's life(lives) for laws to change here. Like seatbelt laws or drunk driving. Things that seem like common sense to us, always takes people literally getting killed. It's ridiculous honestly.

His death effected EVERYONE. His life and death changed hearts and made way for acceptance all over. Matthew will NEVER be forgotten.

I think no matter the gender, you shouldn’t go out by yourself at night, and if you are out with friends, at least one of them should stay behind even if they aren’t feeling like another drink. Everyone protect each other, this world can be so cruel🤎

I was a kid when this happened and it deeply horrified me. It still horrifies me. Matthew Shepards murder and a case of a little girl who lived uncomfortably close to me who was kidnapped and murdered are 2 cases that happened when I was a kid and have stuck with me throughout my entire life. I didn't know way back then about the attack Matthew had suffered a couple of years before his death, and knowing it now just adds a whole new layer of tragedy. This poor guy was just getting his life back after that first violent, unspeakable attack left him traumatized, then he gets brutally murdered. I imagine all of the good he could have done, especially for the LGBT community, and it just breaks my heart. RIP Matthew. You will never be forgotten 💜💜

I was born and raised in Wyoming and this is the one big thing we are both horrified for being known for and also proud of what came out of it in the end. I'm so glad you're covering it I think I recommend it a year or two ago.

not sure proud is the word I would use, also a Wyoming native and considering that those girls didn't get nearly enough time in jail and that the people of that state still wants to keep the LGBTQ+ population as hidden as possible not sure much good came out of it and they sure didn't learn much either (mom of 3 LGBTQ kids & a Wyoming native who is grateful I moved) I am glad I didn't try to raise my kids there. They get enough hate as it is.

I did a 10 page paper on this young soul in my Psych class in college. Breaks my heart to this day. Rest in sweet peace, Matthew. 💜💜

I live here in the states and was 19, two years younger than him when this happened and then at a fairly young age, my heart broke when I heard on the news what happened. And now at 43, looking into his innocent looking eyes breaks my heart all over again. RIP sweet angel🥺💙

I live in Wyoming and still till this day we talk about Matthew still till this day. Something similar happened to my brother all because he is gay. I hope that nobody ever has to go through this because it is truly heartbreaking.

He was a sweet guy. Lived a few hours away and would come to our school swim meets. He had a light about him.

The fact that there’s such a evil in this world just continues to shock me every day, even though I’m starting to get into that state of, Desensitization, this is just so disgusting, the first time I hear about this case, I haven’t even heard part two yet, and I’m already horrified. R/I/P to this precious young boy, he didn’t deserve this, may God bless your soul forever.💔💔🙏🏼

Oh my god this is perfect timing! My school is actually preforming The Laramie Project (a play based off the murder that was meant to shed light on the situation)! This is truly a terrifying case. I don't know any other way to say that its sad. Its sad that things like this happen.

Ive had a similar gang assault and never received justice. Idk if I ever found closure nor what that looks like for the situation.Looking back at my teenage self, I locked the memory away but my body still reacted to the trauma. I was peeing the bed, I was overdosing on Adderall which led to lack of sleep and psychosis. My mom victim blamed me and family never confronted me about it. Im so happy that Matthew found a support system instead of a downward spiral many stay stagnant in

I remember being in high school when the news broke about his murder. I remember crying because I thought it was so cruel and praying to pull thru to be devastated when he passed. I felt so bad for his family and hoping he get justice because he didn’t deserves that hell no one does. I’m glad you covering Eleanor and I look forward to part 2. Have a good one.
