But where do I go to get someone knowledgeable to install all these cool things? With OUT the cost of a hand, arm nor leg? East Coast NC

I have a 2012 F350 6.7L. Turbo works fine until I reach about 2800 rpm, then i lose all boost, I have to stop and restart engine and turbo works again. As long as I keep rpm around 2500 rpm turbo is good, but if I try to pass or start uphill, trans driopps a gear, rpm's go up and turbo goes down.

Too much "real-time". Its among the many negatives of the unprofessional youtube video. In a professional video time is money so everything is prepared and written down in advance. KZfaqrs spend way too much time chatting when all you really want to know are the facts. The average video is twice as long as it needs to be.

This dude just wants clicks and ad money. First sign of greed from a dude making videos for clicks and not contents is... 1.) Clickbait title. ✔ 2.) 8 minutes of filler. ✔ Note: the only reason for the filler (8 min filler) is so it can show you more ads so he can make more money. Simple as that.

Can you wait 3 months? Will the clamps be the correct size? Can you live with excuse after excuse as to why the product isn't available, put up with extended outages of communication until you reach out to them for updates? In the end, the SPE product is pretty if you like black under the hood, (where the hell is the polished aluminum pictured on the site?), but it is not a snug fit, the clamps were the wrong size, and there is no way to position the IAC sensor and have access to the threaded ports for injectables. I waited 3 months, spending more than I could have for a comparable product from Thoroughbred I would have received in 3 days. Replacement, correct sized clamps were promised, none ever showed YMMV, but SPE lost a customer with this stinking pile. I have zero regrets that this is now living under the hood of a pimply faced kid and his one wire tuned turd spewing Prius repellant all day long. It has no place under the hood of a serious owner.

Yea, that Duramax put under heavy load up mountain, fuel suck close, bang sitting in middle road won't crank, and get out pump the filter house and get it running run a mile and shut down, Oh by the way a man with a 6.7 f-350 stop took and hook up my trailer and tow it to campground no charge a good man, chevy dealer kept it three day said can't find out what wrong, oh yea the ford guy took to pick it up and saw the fuel hose suck closed, Chevy wanted 200, for hoses about a foot long. Its so frustrating to hear that such and such engine has a notorious issue with something coming apart!! I thought they test !these damn trucks for millions of miles to see what goes wrong! Its very obvious they do not do what they say because normal people find the problems on every stink-en model that comes out. I don't know why people buy $70k trucks and right away have to modify them because they don't work right. F that. Ford is one of the worst for this and has a LONG history of constant engine (diesel) issues. I'm sure some of the others do too but man Ford is the top for this. Doesn't this make any of you diesel guys mad when a MFG says they put 2 million miles of testing durability to get it right??? Something as simple as a fricken hose blowing apart??!! I don't driver a diesel but enjoy watching and it makes me mad thinking of it.
@jlweck231978
@jlweck231978 5 жыл бұрын
Yeah I just got a 2018 F350 and never heard of that on this motor until now and yeah it does make me mad. I heard about it a lot on the 6.0 engines not not the 6.7. Either way you would think they would have come across it during testing. Maybe the testing isn't good enough or on enough vehicles or the assembly quality goes downhill when it goes in to production. Either way Ford needs to come up with a free update/fix for this problem because you definitely don't want that to happen when towing especially in hilly areas. That is a safety problem in my mind which would then warrant a recall. Now I know this truck has been modified for more power which could cause this but are there factory stock trucks having this problem?
